We really need to talk about the MTV series “Scream.”
As many people know, the “Scream” movies have always been a huge thing. From “Scream” in 1996 to “Scream 4” in 2011, these movies were always a big hit. “Scream 3” made a whopping $161,838,076 in the worldwide box office, according to the-numbers.com
When MTV announced that they would be making a “Scream” series, fans were excited because the series was based off the films. Although there are a ton of obvious differences between the movies and the series, there are some things we just need to talk about.
Here are a few things that we need to discuss about MTV’s “Scream”:
1. Let’s start out with: are you watching “Scream?”
If not, you really really should be. This is, by far, one of the best shows I've ever gotten myself obsessed with. If you're into blood, screaming and general mystery-based drama, you will definitely love it.
2. Carlson Young is one of the most gorgeous people I have ever seen.
Seriously though, look at her! Young plays Brooke, one of the famous "Lakewood Six." She not only embodies a truly terrifyingly emotional character but is also super badass. Go you, Brooke.
3. I’m really not sure whether or not I like Zoe and Noah together.
It's not that I don't completely trust her. It's just that, I don't completely trust her. But yes, they are super cute and adorable –– until her death in the last episode (insert sad face).
4. One of these reasons is because I’m lowkey in love with Noah.
Noah is played by John Karna, who is extremely cute. I mean, look at him.
5. Emma’s mom is hiding something and you know it.
I'm onto you Maggie.
6. Why are they still going to school with all this going on?
After multiple murders and a blood bath in school, I feel like that's just not the place I would want to be.
7. Stavo is so hot but you know he’s probably not a trustworthy guy.
That jawline just screams, (no pun intended) "I cannot be trusted."
8. What exactly is Audrey hiding?
Also, why was her DNA on the mask in the first season, remember?
9. I always rooted on Brooke and Seth Branson, even if it wasn’t completely legal.
Ugh, Seth Branson.
10. Why is Ms. Lang so obsessed with Emma?
She is screaming in her hospital bed, she was keeping tabs on Emma, she was revolving her life around her. What could have been going on?
11. What is the past between Maggie and Sheriff Acosta?
Why is the killer doing things so only they remember? What are they hiding and why do we not know?
For the answers to these questions and so much more, tune into “Scream” every Tuesday night at 10 p.m.
