So many people think that living in a big city is the best thing ever. When you go to school in a small town and say you're from a big city like Chicago most people ask why you left and went to such a small school that's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Well, let me tell ya, living in a big city can be a whole lot of fun but when you live there for 18+ years and you aren't really a "city" person it becomes a bit regular and sometimes even annoying. Here's a few reasons why living in a big city isn't always all that fun:
1. Too many people.
2. Everything costs money.
3. Traffic. Everywhere.
4. I hope you know where you're going 'cause if not, lemme tell ya, you WILL get lost traveling on public transportation.
5. High expectations from visitors. Sorry if the weather ruins your plans!!
6. Good luck finding parking!
7. Once you find a spot to park, if you find a spot to park, you'll probably have to pay to park there.
8. Tourists A.K.A. the source to reason number one.
9. You know those tourist sights that everybody tells you to visit when you go to a certain city? Yeah, they're usually over exaggerated and not always as fun as people make them seem.
10. You will probably have to walk a few blocks from wherever you parked or took public transportation to in order to get to your actual destination.
11. Everyday places like restaurants or stores are going to be crowded, I hope you aren't claustrophobic!
