Let's admit it: I'm obsessed with guinea pigs. Everyone right now is crazy about hedgehogs, prioritizing their lives around their cats, or they're dog people. Well, you see... guinea pigs are kind of better than all three of those, because guinea pigs are social like dogs, have the "I love you but only for 15 minutes while you feed and pet me" attitude of cats, and best of all, they're more huggable than the increasingly popular hedgehogs. But if you need even more reasons than that to love guinea pigs, I have about 11 for you right here:

1. Guinea Pigs make the cutest noises you have ever heard in your life.

2. They do this little dance called "Popcorning."

Just look at those little dancing butts.

3. They're so itty bitty and adorable, and basically, they look the same as babies as they will when they're adults.

4. Pigs get more excited to eat than college students do about free food.

5. They each have their own sassy (or not sassy, if that's their thing) personalities.

6. Guinea Pigs have the cutest little lips.

7. You can adopt a guinea pig from a rescue shelter, so you're doing just as much good adopting a guinea pig as another pet!

8. They can learn tricks.

This guinea pig calls when he hears his name, spins for treats, shakes hands, and is, overall, absolutely ADORABLE.

9. Most guinea pigs LOVE to cuddle.

10. They make the cutest faces.

11. They love to play.

If this wasn't enough to convince you that guinea pigs are absolutely adorable and worth more attention in the pet world, then you're probably heartless. You should go get a guinea pig to teach you about unconditional love and happiness.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
