This coming summer, I will be going on a study abroad program for five weeks in Muenster, Germany. This opportunity is extremely exciting, for a few reasons. If you're thinking about doing a study abroad, here are a few reasons why you should (or at the very least, why I'm excited to do so myself):
1. I'll get to speak German with native speakers.
2. I really want to visit a castle.
3. There are so many historical sites to visit.
4. I can't wait to try a public transit system that actually works.
5. I'm excited to try all the new foods.
6. I'm super excited to learn about a culture other than my own.
7. I'm excited to visit museums.
8. I'm excited to live with a host family.
9. I'm excited to take summer classes.
10. I'm excited to visit places I didn't know about previously.
11. I'm excited for the personal growth I'll experience.
Of course, there's plenty of things I don't know about study abroad yet. But, I couldn't be more excited to figure it all out, and write about it along the way.
