11 Reasons Why Dogs Make The Best Life Partners
Jessica Kadinger

It's said that a dog is a man's best friend. I am one who fully believes in that saying. Dogs make the most amazing life partners. Don't get me wrong, human companions are pretty great too, but there is something so special about the bond between you and your dog. The ability to communicate and create a relationship with an animal that can't speak back to you is so cool. Dogs can bring you so much joy and activity into your life that cannot be brought by anything else. If you need more convincing, here are 11 reasons why dogs make the perfect life partner:

1. They are always happy.

Their happiness is infectious and you can't help but put a smile on your face when you are around a dog.

2. They somehow know when you are upset and how to make you feel better.

Whether it is by cuddling with you or just being themselves, they can instantly brighten any bad mood.

3. They have no cares or worries in the world.

Our precious pups teach us that life doesn't have to be so serious and stressful all the time. This is one of the best lessons I have learned from my sweet dog.

4. They listen to you rant and whine without complaining.

You can talk for hours and they will just be sitting there listening the whole time. It doesn't matter that they don't know what you are saying, it just matters that you can tell them everything that is bothering you so you can get it off your chest.

5. They are always hungry just like you.

No matter the time and no matter what you are eating, your dog will beg for it.

6. They can be your personal heater.

Any dog, big or small, can act as a blanket and movie-watching partner.

7. Their personality is just as weird as yours.

Personally, my dog is so goofy that he makes my eccentric personality seem normal.

8. They can be your workout buddy.

Going out to play with your dog or taking them on a walk every day can act as a little bit of a workout. Also, physical activity with your dog is way more entertaining than doing it all on your own.

9. They are willing to adventure but also chill out for the day.

Dogs love to go to the park and explore the world, but they also love to stay at home and sleep on the couch with their humans.

10. They are just way too cute.

I have never come across a dog that I didn't want to hug and squeeze because it was so adorable.

11. They love you unconditionally.

It doesn't matter who you are or what you do, your dog will love you. So, it's your job to love your dog with all your heart!

So, there you have it folks! I hope this convinces you that dogs are wonderful beings that should be loved and cherished. If you don't already have a dog, I really recommend adoption. Not only are you potentially saving a dog's life, these dogs have so much personality and warmth in their hearts. I have exclusively adopted all of the dogs in my life, and I couldn't be happier with them. If you already have a dog, love them and never let them go!

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
