We all have those days, those days where we feel as though nothing is going right, those days where we just want to give up. The truth behind those days is that they will get better, the pain will not last forever. This is a concept that today's generation cannot be reminded enough. For that reason alone, I decided to compile a list of 11 quotes that you should read if you feel like giving up.

1. "Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end.” -Roy T. Bennett

2. "Never give up on something that you can’t go a day without thinking about." -Winston Churchill

3. "You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it." -Unknown

4. "I’m stronger because of the hard times, wiser because of my mistakes, and happier because I have known sadness." -Allison Vogel

5. "Be strong, things will get better. It might be stormy now, but rain doesn’t last forever." -Unknown

6. "The best advice I can give to anyone going through a rough patch is to never be afraid to ask for help." -Demi Lovato

7. "You never know how strong you are… until being strong is the only choice you have." -Cayla Mills

8. "You'll not be mistaken if you believe in yourself. If it's difficult now, then you are on the right way."-Unknown

9. "It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” -Confucius

10. "There are far, far better things ahead than anything we leave behind." -C. S. Lewis

11. "When it is darkest, we can see the stars." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

You were put on this Earth for a reason, because you are strong enough to live it. When you feel like giving up is your only option, please remember that you are not the only one to feel like this. Talk to someone, get some help. When it rains, it pours, but the rain can't last forever.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
