Who could forget a classic cartoon about 3 boys with the exact same name, who's daily scamming shenanigans got them into loads of trouble with the neighborhood kids?

The Edboys have made millions of viewers laugh (sometimes cry) for about 10 years on Cartoon Network. Since the show ended in 2009, viewers still have many unanswered questions to this day, including me!

1. What was under Double D's hat?

Possibly one of the most frequently asked questions today is what Double D could possibly be hiding under that hat. Many fans have thought of their own theories, some more believable than others. Some viewers believe under that hat is a beautiful head of long, lucious hair, while some have thought of more morbid reasons, such as the theory that Double D is bald/balding from chemotherapy due to cancer, or that he has an underdeveloped twin that he wants no one to know about.

One of the most believable theories stemmed from the episode, "Ed in a Halfshell" where Eddy forces Jimmy and the Eds to play a game of dodgeball. When Eddy volunteers Double D to play, he becomes panicked. Double D warns Eddy that he has a "history" with this game. In fact, the threat of playing dodgeball frightened Edd immensely, and when Eddy was ready to throw the ball at him, he collapsed to the ground, catatonic, screaming, "it's gym class all over again!"

Some fans have proposed that at one point while playing this game, he was so badly injured that he had to go to the hospital for head surgery, leaving a giant scar on his head, which he now covers with his security blanket-like hat. None of these theories have been confirmed, and sadly we will never know the true answer.

2. How old were all of the characters?

kids of the show

It was never really confirmed how old the children were in the show. Just from watching their antics, many would assume at least ages 10-14, especially since the kids attended Peach Creek Junior High.

3. How did Johnny and Plank's friendship begin?

Johnny is known as one of the carefree, wild, and weird characters of the show. Often known as a bit of a loner, Johnny's best friend is a plank of wood named...well, Plank. They do everything together, such as playing with the other neighborhood kids, eating, playing board games, etc. How? I don't know. Johnny talks to Plank as if he is a living being, often laughing at his jokes and saying, "Good one, Plank!" What was never discussed was how the two met and became friends, which has left fans in confusion.

4. Where did Eddy's money obsession come from?

Sure, everyone loves money and could use more of it, but Eddy's obsession with making a quick buck is far from healthy. He's put money before his best friends, Edd and Ed, and chosen it over any other friendship he can make with the others.

In the episode "Every Which Way But Ed" Eddy is even shown making scams as a toddler with Ed. Eddy's money driven attitude has gotten him and the boys injured and ridiculed numerous times, but none of that seems to matter as long as there's cash in Eddy's pocket. (Which at the end of each episode, he always ends up broke

5. WHERE THE HECK ARE THEIR PARENTS?!

Parents are referenced multiple times throughout the series, so we know that the kids indeed have them, but we never once see their faces. We only got an occasional shot of an arm, or legs from flashbacks.

6. Why did Double D's parents only communicate through sticky notes?

Edd is often seen doing chores for his parents, in fact there was an entire episode about it! ("Momma's Little Ed?)

It's obvious that Double D lacks affection from his parents, seeing as they are gone from home a lot. It doesn't hurt to call your son once in a while!

7. Why was Sarah so mean to Ed?

Sarah had to be the most angry, quick tempered character of the show. Often resorting to violence when she doesn't like something or get what she wants. She often terrorizes Ed for no reason, making him fear her.

Ed obviously loves her, as it is seen in the show that he is very protective of her and will do anything to make her happy. Sarah sadly takes Ed's kind heart for granted.

8. What country is Rolf from?

Rolf often refers to his homeland as the "old country" but we never truly found out where he was born. He often references his life in his old home. He loves showing his culture to all of his friends in the neighborhood through his food, music, and overall quirky behavior. His accent sounds European, and he does show some Swedish-like roots in my opinion, though.

9. Is that your horse?

Clearly, that's my horse.

10. Why were the Kankers so obsessed with the Eds?

The series introduced the Kankers by showing them kidnapping the Eds. (Why?) Since then, they were hooked and wanted to terrorize them with smooches every opportunity they got. They don't even know the Eds well enough to love them.

11. When are we getting an Big Picture Show sequel?!

big picture show

@ Dan Antonucci (the creator)

The series finale (the Big Picture Show movie) ends on a heartwarming note, with all of the kids embracing and loving the Eds for owning up to their mistake and apologizing. What I really want to know is...what's going to happen to Johnny! At the end of the finale, while in his Captain Melonhead attire, he is beaten up for hurting the Eds and left for dead. What will happen next? Will he become Captain Melonhead full-time? Will he become a villain and try to get rid of the Eds?

I need answers!!!

What will the future hold for our precious Edboys? As far as the finale goes, I'm extremely happy that the series ended on a very happy note. The Eds' legacy shall live on!

A wise Ed once said, "An elephant never forgets but I forgot what the elephant remembered."

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
