11 Pug Pictures To Get You Through The Day

Monday blues can turn into a terrible Tuesday. After that, you're worn out by Wednesday. And, although it's hard to admit it., Thursdays are tough. You're so close yet so far away from the weekend, and there is still work to be done. I mean, even if it's finally Friday, and you're smiling on Saturday, all your sorrows will come back on Sunday. Sometimes...life can be pretty rough. And it's hard to get through the week without a little something to shed light on some of the darkest days.

I know, I know, I know...VANESSA GET TO YOUR DAMN POINT, AND STOP WASTNG OUR TIME.

#SorryNotSorry

I have recently become a dog person. A couple of months ago I met a dog that didn't want to bite my face off, so that was new and exciting and has opened my eyes to how freaking adorable pooches are. Most specifically, pugs. I just want to squeeze them!

When days get tough...look at these pictures of, what I think are, pugs that will 100% make even your worst day a little bit better.

1.

Meet Curly. He is my roommate's pup, and he is simultaneously the ugliest and cutest little thing I have ever seen. Look at him snuggling with "Curly" from The Three Stooges...look at him! Don't you just start singing every song you've ever heard about best friends ever???

2.

Who doesn't love a man in business casual? So suave. So debonaire. So sophisticated. So wrinkly.

3.

We've all felt like this. You probably feel like this today. The only difference is you probably don't look as cute.

4.

TINY CHAIR. TINY PUP. BIG DREAMS.

This pooch is letting us know ANYTHING is possible, no matter what. Keep on keepin' on with your work week everybody!

5.

If you were like what I used to be...you DID NOT like dogs. There was something about them that really instilled fear in my heart. Now...I can't get enough of these four legged canines. But...look at the baby blues on that cat. Even if you don't like dogs...that cat HAS to brighten your day.

6.

Look at that...LOOK AT IT. I know you're smiling.

7.

Anything is possible if you just believe.

8.

He's scared. She's scared. We're all scared. But look at those eyes. Only a mother could love that face.

9.

Oh my gosh...look at this nerdy little pup. I haven't stopped smiling since I saw this. Day = made.

10.

That determination will give me inspiration on my darkest days. You can do anything if you put your mind to it...just like this pug.

11.

And, with all that being said, I believe this is the most appropriate sign off. I mean, look at that face! If none of the others before made you happy, this one must.

Have a great day, everyone!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
