Walk into a pre-teen's room, and what do you see? Posters of the hottest stars in Hollywood lining the walls.
Some have been torn in the corners, where they were taped and then had to be moved to a 'better spot.' Some might even have lipstick stains. Some weren't even actual posters, instead, they were just magazine inserts that you just had to rip out.
Every girl has been guilty of this unspoken past time. You know the truth deep down whether you admit it or not.
For guys who never set foot into a girl's domain, here is your chance. Your chance to peek into your middle school crush's bedroom.
Here are 11 Posters Every Girl Had On Her Wall In The 2000s:
1. Jonas Brothers
Let's face it. These three were legendary. They were our boy band, much like One Direction was for the generation behind us. These three brothers were probably the cause of kick-starting your puberty.
2.Harry Potter
In all honesty, I still have "Harry Potter" memorabilia on my walls. At the height of the franchise, every girl I knew had someone Potter related in her room. Usually a poster of the Golden Trio on their wall.
3. Selena Gomez
One of Hollywood's it girls of the 2000's. She was big on "Wizards of Waverly Place" and various other projects. Girls may have her on their walls now, but mostly for her music and not her acting. Feel old yet?
4. Sprouse Twins
With Cole making a comeback in the media, it's only fitting I include them. They were the heartthrobs of "Disney" before the Jonas Brothers. As they've gotten older, my crush hasn't stopped.
5. Twilight
As much as I enjoyed "Harry Potter" growing up, "Twilight" was more my love. I was a little too obsessed with it. I had every cast member's individual cast poster in addition to the group movie-posters. I have all the books Meyer has ever published about said series. Somewhere, I admit proudly, I have a Jasper Whitlock trading card.
6. Demi Lovato
She wowed us in "Camp Rock," and still continues to wow us today.
8. "High School Musical"
We are all in this together when I say this was our anthem. I still jam out to the soundtracks.
9. Backstreet Boys
Although these boys were a little before our time, with my older siblings I heard their music often.
10. Jesse McCartney
Guest appearing on various "Disney Channel" shows, Jesse walked his way into our hearts. It doesn't help he voiced Theodore in "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie series.
11. Miley Cyrus
Before she went off the deep end, she was a wholesome girl. She was our Hannah Montana. Being the soundtrack to our lives, we got through middle school and onto high school. Although some of you won't admit it, I remember hearing some girls sing "Bone Dance" during a science test.
