Last week I visited (for the second year in a row), a most beautiful place in New Jersey. New Jersey is not normally known for its stunning beauty, or anything like that, but Point Pleasant is definitely the place to go. If you ever happen to find yourself in the Point Pleasant/Bayhead area, make sure to stop by these places.

1. Point Pleasant Beach.

Obviously, if you are going to New Jersey or anywhere near the ocean for that matter, you have to go to the beach. The beaches at Point Pleasant are stunning and very, very clean, so stop on by.

2. Point Pleasant Beach (after hours).

The beach at night is so fun, as long as you're being safe. Feel free to take a nighttime stroll with your friends or just hang out on the sand in the warm airs of summer.

3. Jenkinson's Boardwalk.

Though still ravaged by Hurricane Sandy, the Boardwalk still stands strong with many of its older attractions and shops that drew the masses in the past.

4. Surf Taco.

To be honest, I was in Jersey for two days, and I went here twice for food because it is so good. The coastal cuisine served here is second to no other. So get yourself a quesadilla because you're worth it.

5. Coal House.

Coal House is home to many different kinds of food, but their most popular are by far their brick oven pizzas. Not only do they taste good, but the presentation isn't too bad either.

6. Jersey Mike's.

Man, this place is all over the place in the South, but definitely not in New York. Their subs are fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

7. Hoffman's Ice Cream.

Hoffman's is actually so good, you need to go there or you will regret everything.

8. Mueller's Bakery.

Mueller's is a cute little bakery with a line that is usually out the door. Their crumb cake is their most well-known item, but that doesn't mean that their other goods aren't just as grand. Get your hands on one of their donuts, bagels, or muffins as soon as you can.

9. Anything and everything.

If you have any sort of opportunity to go to Point Pleasant, I suggest you try. Just take the time you have to hang out with your friends and do stupid stuff together. Summer is such a fun time of the year. So make the most of it!

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

Because no one ever really leaves.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
