11 Places To Visit Someday Soon
Matt Cherubino

Believe it or not, the world is a large place after all with plenty of sights to see. My total travel experience is confined to a mere three states and that includes my home state. So naturally, over the years, I have compiled long lists of places to go and sites to see in order to expand my travel experience, but below I decided to just choose 11 to share.

1. Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Amsterdam is a gorgeous city because of its canal system, but it is also a historical place to visit as well because of the Anne Frank House and Van Gogh Museum. I definitely would not mind spending a few days in this place.

2. Saxon Switzerland National Park, Germany

Saxon Switzerland National Park is a newbie on my list. I recently discovered its breathtaking views through the lock screen on my laptop and I instantly added it to my list.

3. San Francisco, California

Home to the Golden Gate Bridge and also these houses on a hill that will take you back to the days of watching "Full House" on TV. San Francisco, California is a must see place.

4. West Sussex, England

London, England is most likely a point of interest on just about everyone's list, so you may as well make the stop extend to West Sussex, England as well. Here you can enjoy glorious scenery and of course, there is always the castles. Did I mention castles?

5. Lake Havasu City, Arizona

If you are a fan of waterfalls and incredible works of nature in general then go ahead and add Lake Havashu City, Arizona to your list of places to go. There is lots of exploring to be done here.

6. Kusma Gyadi Bridge, Nepal

As long as you are not terribly afraid of heights then this bridge should totally be on your list! Kusma Gyadi Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Nepal and will be well worth the trip for the amazing bird's eye views.

7. Cape Town, South Africa

Take a trip to Cape Town, South Africa and enjoy a ride in a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, or you can spend your time down by the port and take in the sights of the ground below.

8. Chimney Rock State Park, North Carolina

Chimney Rock State Park is a place that has been on my list from the very beginning. To my benefit, it is in North Carolina and is relatively closer to me than Nepal or England, so I am pretty sure I will be venturing here sooner rather than later.

9. Peles Castle, Romania

Once again the beautiful scenery and castle make Peles Castle in Romania a must see place because who doesn't love a good castle?

10. Zion National Park, Utah

Zion National Park in Utah includes more than just these rocky, red canyons. Rivers and waterfalls are a part of the sites to see as you hike here.

11. Stonehenge, England

Finally, the last place to visit (at least for this list) is the historical landmark Stonehenge in England. Some people would classify this as just a pile of rocks, but nonetheless, it is still a very interesting landmark.

What are some places that are on your lists?

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
