Fall is undoubtedly the best season of the year. The weather gets nicer, everything looks pretty outside, and you can start bringing out your those cute boots and layers from the depths of your closet. Plus, all the fun fall and Halloween themed movies play on TV nonstop and you can easily visit the locations that a lot of those movies are set in!
1. St. Helens, Oregon (Halloweentown Movies)
Every Halloween they decorate the town like it is in the movies.
2. Salem, Massachusetts (Hocus Pocus)
Salem offers daily Hocus Pocus tours!
3. East Corinth, Vermont (Beetlejuice)
This house was immediately torn down after filming, but you can still visit where it was.
4. Rome, Georgia (Remember the Titans)
See where they filmed the training scenes!
5. Ontario, Canada (Gilmore Girls)
So this isn't a movie, and most of the show was actually filmed on a sound stage in LA, but you can't think about Fall and not think about Gilmore Girls.
7. Oliver Springs, Tennessee (October Sky)
The town has an "October Sky" themed festival every year.
8. Northumberland, England, UK (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone)
The castle even offers broom training if you're interested in that.
9. Tinsmith Circle, Carpenters Run, Lutz, Florida (Edward Scissorhands)
Not nearly as cool of a neighborhood as in the movie, but still a cool place to visit.
10. Oakley Court, Windsor Road, Oakley Green, Windsor, and Berkshire, England, UK (Rocky Horror Picture Show)
Looks even cooler in person (I would imagine)
11. Porter Ranch, Northridge, Los Angeles, California (ET)
The Halloween scene and the bike scene were both filmed her.
