This week I took a break from foggy London to visit Barcelona and Madrid. As much as I missed the National Gallery, there was no shortage of art in Spain. Here are some of the things I saw.
1. Graffiti in Barcelona, Spain. Inspired by Picasso's Guernica.

2. The outside of La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona. Designed by Antoni Gaudí. (I couldn't resist.)

7. A public area in Madrid that will soon be torn down for a sports bar. RIP.
8. The ceiling of an amazing cathedral, Madrid. (Apparently, they hired an artist not knowing that he liked pop art, and he made them this as a surprise.)

9. A painting from the Thyssen museum in Madrid by an artist brilliantly named Peeter Neefs I (using Spanish spelling).
