I knew when I started my college search that I wanted to attend a small college. As it turned out, I attend a college with the same amount of students as my high school, roughly 1,700 (college undergraduates). As with all schools, there are perks in regards to size. With a small school especially, these perks are quite numerous.

1. Campus end-to-end doesn't require a bus.

2. You will know every face on campus, and know almost every name too.

3. On the same note, good luck walking anywhere without seeing someone you know.

4. Everyone is proud of everyone else's achievements.

5. When it's your birthday, well, be prepared.

6. Everyone supports the sports teams. Everyone.

7. The professors are relatable.

8. Classes are taught by the professors and not their co-workers or TAs.

9. You'll be in more friend groups than you can count.

10. It's easy to get involved in pretty much anything.

11. Graduation isn't long at all thanks to your small class size.
