The election is only a few weeks away, and it is a bit terrifying that a racist bully is just one step away from running the United States. People are already fed up by his arrogance and ignorance, but it is still possible that we would have to live with this for another four years. The following list is compromised of people who are better qualified than Donald Trump. While they are all significantly different and have contrasting strengths, they do have one thing in common: they are not Trump.

1) Wendy

She strives to please people. She supports animal welfare policies. She as pledged to reduce energy consumption. Just one glance on the Wendys.com website, and it is obvious that you learn more about real issues in America than watching an hour or so of debates that consist of nothing. #ImWithHer

2) Fetus Nick Jonas

"I love pizza. You can't really go wrong with pizza," Young Nick Jonas once declared. This is what the American people want!

3) The "My Leg" from Spongebob.

He's been through it again and again. No one is more familiar with how the healthcare system works than Fred Rechid (yes, he has a name!).

4) Coach Jack Bolton

Let's face it, through his Pop & Son pep talks and leading the East High Wildcats to victory, his resume is more impressive than Trump's.

5) John Green's son

While the age to run for president may need to be lowered by a couple decades, it is clear that he is showing great potential.

6) William Rosenburg

The founder of Dunkin' Donuts. Unfortunately, he cannot run as he has passed away in 2002, however, we will never forget that America Runs on Dunkin'.

7) Emma Watson

She played a brainiac on screen, however, off screen, she is legitimately qualified to be president. As a UN ambassador, she understands equality for everyone. Too bad she was not born in the United States.

8) Derek Sheperd

Not all heroes where capes, some wear scrubs.

9) Phoebe Buffay

Instead of building a wall, she will go to Mexico to solve her problems. Talk about great foreign relationships!

10) Miley Cyrus

She claims that if Trump becomes president, that it #AintaPartyInDaUSAAnymo. She's right.

11) Arnold Schwarzenegger

The 38th governor of California, businessman, and philanthropist (also known for his many roles in the film industry), Arnold Schwarzenegger is definitely more qualified than Trump. His reminds the people of the United States "As proud as I am to label myself a Republican, there is one label I hold above all else -- American," and "that it is not only acceptable to choose your country over your party -- it is your duty."

Trump just does not have what it takes to run the country. He is disrespectful, aggressive, and just plain ridiculous. With one of these people in office, America will be in better hands (and not small ones).

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
