If you're like me and you spend all year waiting for October to roll around, right now is the time you shine the most. Between pumpkin carving/painting, costume parties, and just the spooky atmosphere in general you just can't get enough.

If this is you, then chances are you relate to the following things as well:

1. No one understands your love of strange, odd, sometimes scary things.

2. You live for Haunted Houses.

3. You've been planning the perfect costume or witty Halloween outfit for months.

4. You are excited because all the good Halloween specials on all your favorite television shows start to air

5. When your boyfriend/girlfriend/friends won't go see all the new horror films with you

6. You are actually excited to decorate. Unlike Christmas, nobody has sentimental Halloween decorations so you don't have to worry about breaking great-grandma's hand crafted glass whatever.

7. When people start talking about Thanksgiving or Christmas in October:

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
