Move on, let go and hold onto tomorrow. It is not easy, but it is important. In order to be the happiest you, there are some things that you need to let go of.
1. Negative self-talk.
Stop talking down to yourself. This is probably where most unhappiness comes from. Stop looking in the mirror and wanting to be something else. Love yourself the way you are.
2. Feeling sorry for yourself.
Stop throwing yourself pity parties. Get up, dust off and get back out there. You can do it!
3. Limiting beliefs.
Stop limiting yourself. Believe what you want. Anything is possible, so stop setting limits and go for it! The sky is the limit, aim among the stars.
4. Regrets.
Life is short. There is absolutely no time for regrets. NO REGRETS! Make your mistakes, learn from them, and move on.
5. Toxic people.
It's hard, but let go of those toxic people in your life. They are not good for your happiness. Don't be scared to let them go.
6. Pleasing everyone.
Stop trying to please everyone. Do what is best for you. Be selfish in this sense. It is OK.
7. Worry.
Let go of worry. It is bad for your skin and if you are worrying about something then you cannot focus on what makes you happy.
8. Impressing others.
Why do you need to impress others? They don't matter. Stop worrying about other's opinions and dress how you want to dress, love who you want to love, believe what you want to believe.
9. Gossip and complaining.
Gossip will not get you anywhere. Gossiping about others does not make you feel better about yourself. In order to make yourself feel better, let go of gossip and complaining and get on with it.
10. The need to be right.
It is OK to be wrong! Stop being unhappy because someone proved you wrong again. It. Is. OK. You may not know all that you think you know so listen to what others have to say and stop worrying about being right all of the time. You may actually learn something.
11. The "Blame Game."
Stop blaming everything on everyone else. Take responsibility for your actions. Learn from your mistakes and move on. Use what you learned. If you keep blaming everything on everyone else, there is no room to learn anything new.
Let go of these things. They are unnecessary and you do not need the added stress of worry about what others are doing, complaining about your poor pitiful life, or regretting your past. Live in the moment, learn, grow, and hold on to what tomorrow will bring you. Life is too short to be unhappy, let go and move on.
