So you've fallen into a Netflix hole. By that I mean you find yourself staring blankly at your "Watch it Again" list. You're scrolling past How I Met Your Mother, Stranger Things, and god forbid One Tree Hill. You might actually be considering binging Gossip Girl for the 4th time.
Well scroll up and get your search bar ready. Here are 11 shows that will finally give you something to watch(for the first time).
1. Atypical
I was honestly very skeptical beforehand of if I would like this show. Like the show's name, Atypical has unusual elements compared to other coming-of-age series. It focuses on the life of an 18-year-old who is on the autism spectrum. It's quirky characters and dark humor make it a truly interesting show. Plus, it's already been renewed for a second season which means more episodes for you.
2. Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce
This show isn't just for your mom. Without giving too much away, the main character Abby is a total badass when dealing with life obstacles. It's basically a 10x better Sex and the City.
3. "3%"
This is another one of several shows about dystopian societies on Netflix but with a twist. Just remember to set the language to English, you'll understand what I'm talking about.
4. Master of None
You would think that a show by Aziz Ansari would lean more toward comedy than quality but this show is actually a work of art. Period.
5. Girlboss
This show will give you all the confidence you need to fearlessly go out into the world, even if you have no idea what you're doing.
6. Dear White People
This show follows a group of students of color at a predominantly white college who face social injustice. Each episode, focuses on a particular character in the show so you see many different perspectives. It's also filled with unexpected humor.
7. Jack Whitehall: Travels with my Father
Just trust me and watch the first episode in full before you decide if you like it. Jack's father is the sassiest old man who has blessed this earth and I am very ok with it.
8. American Vandal
American Vandal stars Jimmy Tatro, who you may know as the frat boy, Rooster, in 22 Jump Street. This show was meant to be a parody of crime documentary shows but I was seriously hooked from the beginning. You'll have to watch to know what I am talking about.
9.Reign
You wouldn't necessarily think a show about young Mary Queen of Scotts would be funny, scandalous, and dramatic but Reign definitely delivers.
10. Land Girls
This British drama is a bit different than a lot of shows I've seen in it's filming style. The show follows women who are part of the British "Land Army" in the middle of World War II.
11. Luther
Starring Idris Elba, Luther is a crime drama about a dedicated detective who has some hidden demons. That's all I'll give away.
If you've already gone through all of these then I can't help you much more than advising you to catch up on these shows that are unfortunately leaving Netflix this month:
