If you're considering canceling your Netflix subscription, check these out first.
1. "Stranger Things"
This is a very obvious one, however, if you haven't watched "Stranger Things" yet... GET TO IT! It's an action-packed series that isn't too scary but is still tastefully suspenseful. It is so good that it'll make you want to lose hours of sleep until you're finished. I would recommend this show to anyone who's looking for a new series to start.
2. "The Kissing Booth"
If you're in the mood to bring out the waterworks, this one is for you. The young, dorky girl falls in love with the popular hunk in high school and... Well, watch it for yourself. I thought it would be corny until I watched it and fell in love with it.
3. "Atypical"
This series is definitely an eye-opener for someone who is not educated on Autism. It is about a boy in high school who has Autism and is testing the waters of dating and social interaction. It'll make you laugh, smile, and bring on the waterworks in some episodes. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
4. "To All The Boys I Loved Before"
Here's another movie that I thought would be corny until I watched it. Noah Centineo is a good incentive for watching this. A girl who's never been loved before kept her feelings about all of these boys to herself until her sister made a mistake. You'll be wrung out like a rag after watching this.
5. "I Am A Killer"
If you're into crime and documentaries, you'll enjoy this one. It gives you the point of view of the prisoners on Death Row. Why these people committed homicide, and what has happened. These episodes will show you different incidents and different backgrounds to these people.
6. "22 July"
Based on a true story from a real incident in 2011, it recaps the tragic events and aftermath of terrorist attacks in Norway. It'll make you gasp and will drop your jaw. The acting in this film is A1!
7. "Orange Is The New Black"
This has more inmates, but it's not based on true events. "Orange Is The New Black" is a funny series that will also make you want to keep watching. This is another great series and I mark my calendar for each season.
8. "Big Mouth"
"Big Mouth" is a cartoon that talks about puberty and the social changes that come with it. The raunchy humor will keep you wanting more of these short episodes. Don't judge the series by its cover because it's a cartoon–I saw that the second season was released and I was hype!
9. "Sierra Burgess Is A Loser"
This is about a girl who is a nobody in high school, then becomes friends with the popular girl. She talks to the boy of her dreams for weeks without him knowing who she truly is. Does he ever find out? Do they end up together? Watch and find out for yourself.
10. "Black Mirror"
HANDS DOWN. FAVORITE. Every episode is a new story, so technically you can start on any of them. It gives a fast-forward into what our future could potentially look like. Some episodes aren't my cup of tea. However, the episodes will make you want more, more, more. Little secret: Season three is probably the best one.
11. "When We First Met"
The love of my life is Adam DeVine. He plays a boy who just graduated college and has the ability to re-meet a girl he has a crush on over and over again through a photo booth. Can he change the past to make his future the way he wants it? Does he get the girl? You won't know until you watch and enjoy.
