Netflix has such a large variety of TV shows and movies. Some of them are really good and some are really, well, not so good. Some things on Netflix are definitely a must-watch for everybody no matter what type of genres you are into.
1. "The Office."
"The Office" is a great comedy with both stupid and dry humor. It is a TV show about life in an office and you will grow to love all of the characters and eventually think you are a part of the office.
2. "How I Met Your Mother."
This is a TV show about a guy named Ted telling his children about his journey in New York City and living life day to day with his friends. The show has a lot of both comedy and drama where you can be crying one episode and laughing on the floor the next one.
3. "Cheers."
"Cheers" is an '80s sitcom about a bar in Boston. There is plenty of humor to always keep you laughing and it is an "oldie but goodie."
4. "Begin Again."
"Begin Again" is a somewhat comedy, mainly drama music story. It stars Keira Knightly and has some great music in the movie.
5. "House of Cards."
Starring Kevin Spacey, this is a Netflix original series about a ruthless politician trying to take Washington.
6. "Friends."
A '90s sitcom every human being should watch. It is a TV show about six friends who live in New York City and pretty much anything can happen to them!
7. "Orange Is the New Black."
This is a Netflix original series about a women's prison somewhere in upstate New York that is underfunded. There is a lot of both comedy and drama and will put you through the ringer every episode. Three seasons have been released so far with a forth coming out June 17.
8. "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World."
This is a movie that stars Keira Knightly and Steve Carell and is a depressing and dramatic, but very well-made movie!
9. "Grey's Anatomy."
This is a long-running ABC TV series about surgeons at a hospital in Seattle, Wash., a show filled with drama in the E.R., on the operating table, and in their own lives.
10. "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas."
This is a movie that takes place in Germany in World War II. A young boy who is German becomes friends with a boy who is at the concentration camp next door.
11. "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl."
This is the first of "The Pirates of the Caribbean" movies and is a Disney movie that is full of action and adventure that can be fun for the whole family!
