This summer, countless great movies have come across the big screen, and there are plenty more to come! Here are 11 movies to see before the summer ends.

1. "Spider-Man: Homecoming"

The superhero who debuted in “Captain America: Civil War” finally has his own movie, in which Tom Holland stars as the web-creating Spider-Man.

2. "Despicable Me 3"

The third installation in the "Despicable Me" franchise sees Gru teaming up with his long lost brother Dru to defeat a new villain.

3. "Wonder Woman"

The highly praised film features Wonder Woman helping to save the planet after she learns about World War I from a pilot who crashes on her island.

4. "Cars 3"

The third installation in the "Cars" franchise features Lightning McQueen trying to prove that he is still the best race car in the world, and it has received better reviews than "Cars 2."

5. "Girls Trip"

In the film, four best friends travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Music Festival and have themselves a wild vacation.

6. "Dunkirk"

The World War II movie is about the evacuation of Allied troops from Dunkirk, France before Nazi troops enter.

7. "The Emoji Movie"

The animated movie takes place in Textopolis, a world with every emoji you could imagine, where one emoji tries to adopt one facial expression like the rest of his friends.

8. "Kidnap"

Halle Berry stars in the movie about a single mom whose son is kidnapped in a park, and instead of waiting for police to help her, she chases the kidnappers herself.

9. "Annabelle: Creation"

The creepy film is actually a sequel to "Lights Out", but in this movie, a doll named Annabelle haunts a family grieving the death of their daughter and adopting kids from an orphanage.

10. "Leap!"

The animated film focuses on two young children in Paris in 1884, who encourage each other to follow their dreams: one wants to be a dancer and the other an inventor.

11. "Renegades"

The movie is about a team of Navy SEALs on assignment in Europe that discovers treasure at the bottom of a lake and tries to gather it for the locals, but is detected by the enemy.
