After a long year summer is finally here. Whether you are driving to work or sitting on the beach these are a few songs you should definitely hear.

1. "For Free" by DJ Khaled (feat. Drake).

DJ Khaled had always been known for his music prior to his snapchat success, finally he is back with the help of the 6 God. This track has an extreme summer vibe and fits Drake's recent pop montra.

2. "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake.

After a few years off from music JT is back with another catchy pop song that will for sure be the song of the summer.

3. "This Is What You Came For-" by Calvin Harris (feat. Rihanna).

This song reminds me a lot of Calvin Harris and Rihanna's last collaboration, "We Found Love," you will definitely hear this on the radio all summer long.

4. "Wake Up" by Fetty Wap.

This is a classic Fetty Wap song with an extremely catchy chorus. This bouncy record will have you wishing it was summer all year long.

5. "Too Good" by Drake (ft. Rihanna).

Amongst dating rumors, Drake and Rihanna released another smash hit. This song goes hand in hand with "Work" and shows that Drake and Rihanna chemistry.

6. "Controlla" by Drake.

Yes I know, another Drake song but I can't help it. This song has an island vacation vibe that will have you singing it constantly.

7. "Don't Mind" by Kent Jones.

DJ Khaled's newest signee to We the Best, Kent Jones, is climbing up the charts with this one. Mixing in foreign cultures with hip-hop is always fun.

8. "Middle" by DJ Snake (feat. Bipolar Sunshine).

An interesting turnt up love song with a crazy beat will for sure be a popular song this summer.

9. "Pick Up The Phone" by Young Thug & Travis Scott (feat. Quavo).

This is a summery trap rap banger. Will definitely make you bob your head and make you want to dance.

10. "MY PYT" by Wale

Wale has been M.I.A. for a while but this song will put him back on the charts. A flip of Michael Jackson classic PYT this song is definitely for the summer party scene.

11. "No Problem" by Chance the Rapper (feat. 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne)

If you want to turn up and have fun this is definitely that song. Usually calm, Chance is braggadocious on this track and brings 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne along for the ride.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead.
