11 Bad Movies Rated Higher Than "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"
The Telegraph UK

So far this year, we have seen some amazing movies come to the big screen. "Deadpool" and "Zootopia" have already gathered some amazing reviews, and films such as "Finding Dory", "Suicide Squad", "The Jungle Book", and "Captain America: Civil War" all look to be full of promise. However one particular movie released this year, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", grossly failed to live up to its hype prior to its release. So here’s a list of 11 movies that were just slightly less terrible than "Dawn of Justice", which received a 29 percent rating Rotten Tomatoes.

1. "Nacho Libre" - 40 percent.

Yes, "Nacho Libre". In the battle between the Caped Crusader, the Man of Steel and a man named Nacho, Nacho won. I hear DC is looking for him to be the next Justice League villain.

2. "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" - 33 percent.

This movie featuring Kevin James riding a Segway, stealth-rolling around pillars and getting called "Peanut Blart and Jelly" by a borderline offensive Indian guy, all in order to save a New Jersey mall did better with critics than a movie featuring seemingly every super hero in the DC universe. Maybe Kevin James and his Segway should have made an appearance in the film to boost ratings.

3. "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" - 36 percent.

The title says it all. Not "Sharknado", not even "Sharknado 2", but "Sharknado 3", the third installment of this mercilessly drawn out franchise obtained higher ratings than the high budget DC film. It’s literally the third movie about sharks. In a tornado. Swimming around LA doing things sharks do. The ceiling was definitely reached the first time around.

4. "Knowing" - 34 percent.

If you have any experience reading movie reviews, you know that critics and movie goers alike generally are not fans of films featuring Nicholas Cage. "Knowing", a brooding, often creepy movie about a little girl predicting the end of the world and Nicolas Cage being totally incapable of stopping it and losing a couple of his kids in the process, was no exception to this trend.

5. "Chicken Little" - 36 percent.

The highlight of this movie about a spectacled chicken convinced the sky is falling had to have been the performance of the Spice Girl's "Wannabe." It still fared better than "Batman v Superman", which was universally deemed bad from the first weekend of its release.

6. "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" - 46 percent.

Another back end of a trilogy makes the list in the form of "Spy Kids 3-D". The saddest part of this movie might have been the lack of thumb people from the earlier installments.

7. "Space Chimps" - 34 percent.

Scorecard: Animated chimpanzees in space, fighting an evil reptile looking creature named Zartog - 1. Two of the most famous super heroes of all time - 0.

8. "Mr. Bean's Holiday" - 51 percent.

An hour and a half worth of cringing at no dialogue being spoken at all.

9. "Race to Witch Mountain" - 43 percent.

The Rock has many talents, getting insanely jacked at the gym and smiling being the most obvious of them. Starring in a movie driving around kids from another planet in a beat up cab? Maybe not so much.

10. "Dumb and Dumber To" - 29 percent.

This movie is so mind-numbingly painful to watch, I can’t believe it made this list myself. If you thought Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels making fart jokes in the second installment of their Dumb and Dumber series couldn’t possibly be on par with "Batman v Superman", you would be wrong.

11. "Rubber" - 67 percent.

Rounding out the list (no pun intended) we have a movie about a tire that realizes it has supernatural powers and uses those powers to blow things up. Seriously. It rolls, shakes, and things go boom. Even if "Dawn of Justice" were twice as good as it currently is, it still wouldn’t be as good as an evil, murderous tire on a kill streak.

If you haven't seen "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" already, it seems you would be better off spending your time watching any of the 11 movies mentioned above. This movie had a gargantuan budget, every DC superhero they could have asked for and a cast headlined by Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Unfortunately, no amount of spandex, eye candy, or buildings exploding in spectacular fashion could have saved this one. A Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan return, anyone?

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
