A brave individual has finally decided to attempt a recreation of the best movie ever made. As an avid "Grease" fan myself, I couldn’t help but feel amused regarding the idea of my favorite movie premiering once again. Yes, the cast of "Grease: Live" is undeniably talented, and well, really good-looking. But as I started to get excited I couldn't help but reminisce on the moments that are just too good to redo.
1. The first glimpse of Danny Zuko in his thunderbird jacket
Danny Zuko pretty much stole all of our hearts throughout the movie. But there is just one thing, Aaron Tveit (Who may I mention, played a Ryder in the "Glee" series.) just can’t master: The smirk.
2. The undeniable sass of the Pink Ladies on the first day of school.
For those who don't know, Vanessa Hudgens is playing Rizzo. Gabriella Montez does not strut. Gabriella Montez leans against big pictures of Troy and cries. Lets not forget that.
3. The ridiculously flawless choreography of "Grease Lightning"
Sorry, Carlos Pena Jr. But I don’t think Big Time Rush dance moves are gonna cut it for the intensity and lust of the Thunderbirds.
4. Jan’s “brusha, brusha, brusha” moment
Remember Kether Donohue? The original mega mean girl in charge of the Barden Bellas in "Pitch Perfect"? Well, now she is Jan. Aca-awkward…
5. Rizzo’s Elvis impression
GABRIELLA MONTEZ DOES NOT THRUST. She spins around on stage soarin’ and flyin’. That is all.
6. Sandy and Danny’s cute dance moves
Julianne Hough killed the dance moves in "Footloose." But can she tone down the hotness of Ariel to channel the innocent moves of Sandy?
7. When Sandy made our jaws drop
Julianne Hough: You better shape up. (Even though you are beautiful and we all love you!)
8. When Danny fell to Sandy’s feet in awe
Yeah, it is.
9. Pretty much every part of “You’re The One That I Want"
This scene is just iconic. End of story.
10. A wop ba da do da! A wop bam boo!
If you say you are not smiling right now, you are lying. Just look at all of their perfect faces.
