11 Lessons Chandler Bing Taught Me

Chandler Bing. Friend, funny guy, fountain of wisdom. Yes, he does it all, and we could definitely learn a thing or two about life from him.

1. Dance like nobody's watching.

(Even though they might be/)

2. Don't be afraid of being brutally honest every once in a while.

Like this:

Or this:

3. It's okay to not know what you want to do with your life.

A little uncertainty is a-okay, so don't sweat it.

4. Always laugh at your own jokes.

(Just in case no one else does.)

5. Make room for a little "me time."

Slow down, relax, take a bubble bath.

6. Lend your friends some wise words of wisdom every once in a while

Or just make them laugh. Whatever works.

7. Always have a good exit strategy out of an awkward situation.

Trust me, you'll thank yourself later.

8. Try being honest about your feelings.

Are you hopeless, AND awkward, AND desperate for love? Tell the world! Tell anyone who will listen. Even tell the people who don't want to listen. Just tell everyone and anyone.

9. Learn to laugh at yourself.

Never take yourself too seriously because that's boring and absolutely no fun at all.

10. Learn to appreciate the little things in life.

Take time to smell the roses. Hold little stuff and pretend you're a giant. Whatever floats your boat.

11. Make sure to stay a kid at heart.

You're only as old as you feel.

Chandler Bing. He's a man to admire.

Yes. Really.
