These shows don't just make us laugh, but also create storylines we want to follow and characters we love. The older ones bring feelings of nostalgia while the more recent ones give television a new vibe. No matter how old or new, each of these is worth watching every episode of.
1. "Parks and Recreation."
Each character on this show has their own quirks that make them distinctly hilarious…plus, you can’t go wrong with a show directed by "SNL" star Amy Poehler.
2. "Friends."
This show is a classic and it boggles my mind when people say they haven't seen a single episode of it. After watching all 236 episodes, you'll start wishing you lived the life of these six New Yorkers.
3. "The Office."
If you have ever tried to start watching "The Office," but thought it was boring, try it again. As you get deeper into the show, the characters develop further, allowing you to appreciate the show’s wit.
4. "How I Met Your Mother."
Watching every episode of the show is the only way to recognize its full worth. This show constantly refers back to previous episodes, making it truly well written.
5. "Sex and the City."
Not only is this show filled with humor, but love and friendship as well. The unreal situations these characters get themselves into make me die.
6. "Seinfeld."
A show about nothing, that some describe as stupid. But it really is a work of comedy genius once you give it a chance.
7. "Modern Family."
"Modern Family" had to have been written by an English major — each episode is extremely clever and will leave you in tears.
8. "Orange Is the New Black."
How do they manage to make being in prison seem comical?
9. "That 70's Show."
It is still just as funny as when I watched it growing up — and even more relatable now.
10. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
Another show about a group of friends and their shenanigans...what more do you want?
11. "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
Did you even have a childhood if you have never watched this show?
