11 Hidden Gems In Disney World

Disney World will always have a special place in my heart. I love the idea of being able to discover magic all over the parks. Disney truly makes me feel like a kid again. Throughout the parks and resorts, though, there are things that many guests do not know about that are definitely hidden gems. Disney is more than just a theme park with rides, there are many ways to make memories without breaking the bank. Here are some of my personal favorites:

1. S'Mores with Chip and Dale

Every night at 8:00 p.m. guests can got to Fort Wilderness for a campfire sing-along with Chip and Dale. Best of all, It's free!

2. Club Cool

Club Cool is located inside Disney’s Epcot near Innovations West. This soda shop is sponsored by Coca-Cola and offers free samples of soft drinks from around the world.

3. Sci-Fi Drive-In Theater Restaurant

This is a restaurant located in Disney's Hollywood's Studios. The restaurant is a 1950s themed drive-in. You have lunch or dinner inside a classic car shaped booth that will take you and your family back in time to a 1950s drive-in theater. There will be car hop attendants ready to take your order and a large screen playing reels of vintage sci-fi clips.

4. Watching Wishes from the Polynesian Resort beach

Grab a Dole Whip sit in the and and watch the magic happen over Cinderella's Castle.

5. A Kiss Goodnight

A Kiss Goodnight signifies the closing of Magic Kingdom. It happens approximately 20 to 30 minutes after the park closes. Cinderella Castle will begin to twinkle and go through a cycles of color, accompanied by the familiar voice of the park narrator thanking you for visiting the Magic Kingdom and then wishing you all the best as the park officially goes to sleep and offers the lucky guests who remain this formal kiss goodnight.

6. Tangled Inspired Restroom Area

Inside of Magic Kingdom there is a specific area in which is themed like "Tangled". There a lanterns all above along with painting inside of the bathrooms. There is also Rapunzel's tower along with hidden Pascal's and charging ports.

7. One Man's Dream

This is one of my personal favorites. It is an air conditioned area located in Hollywood Studios. This is an exhibit about Walt Disney, where guests can learn everything they wish about Walt's dream for The Walt Disney Company and how it came about. There are also things pertaining to Walt's early life and the early stages of the company. The exhibit features models of Disney Land Paris and Tokyo.

8. Magic Kingdom Rope Drop

Before the parks open, when many guests are still sleeping, the rope drop at the Magic Kingdom takes place. Throughout the rope drop, Disney characters and Main Street dancers give the early rising guests who are waiting outside the park a show. This happens before the mayor of Main Street comes out and the rope is dropped to officially open the park.

9. Coral Reef Restaurant

Dine in Epcot under an aquarium like setting. There are real sea animals swimming above you as you eat.

10. Snorkel with Sharks and Sting Rays

At Typhoon Lagoon, guests are able to snorkel across a lagoon filled with sharks and sting rays. This is included into the admission of the water park.

11. Biergarten Restaurant

This restaurant is located in Epcot's Germany. It is a buffet styled dinner or lunch that has authentic German food. There are times when there is a German band plays which makes the night untouchable. Seriously amazing.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
