With Halloween just around the corner, everyone is getting into the spooky mood. This year, why not join in and have a little fun? There are so many Halloween activities to help get you in the mood. Here are a few:
1. Pumpkin Painting
I love pumpkin painting because you can do any design and have a pretty decoration around for a little bit before the pumpkin rots.
2. Go to a Corn Maze
They may be creepy, but they're super fun.
3. Make Spooky Caramel Apples
Caramel apples are such a good treat.
4. Have a Halloween Movie Marathon
Would it truly be Halloween without the horror classics or other nostalgic films like "Hocus Pocus"?
5. Have a Ghost Story Night
Gather a couple or a lot of friends and just spend the night eating snacks and telling each other ghost stories! It's really fun to get creative and scary with each other. Or you could spend the night finding the creepiest ghost stories and telling them to each other. And if you want to get real spooky, find a haunted area near you and go ghost-hunting. (Just don't break any laws)
6. Host a Costume Party
Costume parties are always fun and if you find you have the time and motivation to do it, then why not try hosting one? It could be a big party or it could just be a group of you and your friends getting together and having your own little costume fun.
7. Go to a Haunted House
Around Halloween, you're bound to find haunted houses at least somewhere near you. It'll be fun to take a group of friends with you and try to get through the house without getting spooked at least once.
8. Pumpkin Carving
Pumpkin carving is one of the best signs that Halloween is here. This year, trying finding outrageous designs and try to recreate them with your friends.
9. Host a Murder Mystery Game
Ever heard of "Clue"? I'm sure most of you have, but for those who haven't, it's a game (and movie) centered around a mysterious murder and the others have to find clues to solve the mystery. Basically, it's "Whodunnit?" So, get some friends together and organize a faux murder mystery, I bet it would be super fun.
10. "Guess The Film" Game
Get some friends together for a game night and start the night with this. What you'll be doing is playing charades, except you'll be trying to act out classic (or modern) horror movies and seeing if your friends can guess them.
11. "Guess What's In The Box" Game
One last thing to do on this list is a classic activity. Amp this game up a bit and make it a spooky version. Get a simple box and put any object in there (objects that won't inflict pain or cause trouble, at least). For example, put spaghetti with meatball eyes (fake of course) or a skull in there to represent the Halloween fun and take turns trying to guess what's in the box. You can make it a competition and play for several rounds.
