I have been absolutely obsessed with the '70s lately, from the music to the fashion, there is something about it that is just so fun. There have been a ton of apparel and accessories that give off those groovy vibes that will be sure to make your Fall far out!
1. Corduroy skirts
These skirts are an iconic piece from the 70s and are also popular for their versatility, you can pair them with just about anything!
2. High-waisted Palazzo pants
Another versatile staple piece for this Fall is palazzo pants. These are high-waisted with a tie detail, giving these pants a modern twist on its '70s origin.
3. Denim tops
Denim was at its peak during this time-period, from bell bottom jeans to a frilled collar button down like this one, denim was trendy then and now!
4. Bright Floral Tops
The 70s are most known for their bright and colorful patterns and you can find this one and much more here.
5. Jumpsuits
Jumpsuits had their rise to fame during this time period and were mostly seen at discos! This version is super modern as it combines the slip dress trend with the jumpsuit plus the bright floral pattern.
6. Bell-bottom jersey pants
Jersey track pants began their popularity this past Spring and will continue into the Fall. These are pull-away which gives a bell-bottom impression.
7. Platform boots
Platform shoes were a staple piece during the disco era, and you can not forget the bright pattern like these with the flames!
8. Round glasses
Oversized accessories were a must during this era and these glasses are sure to do the trick!
9. Maxi rompers
While you could find skirts to be shorter or longer in length, the hippie side of the 70s preferred maxi length. This romper is perfect for the Fall as the maxi aspect of the romper is more of an accessory rather than the focal point of the ensemble.
10. Faux Fur
If you ever find yourself in a vintage clothing store, the fur coats, especially in bold patterns like animal print or bright colors such as this one, will be likely to be dated back to the 70s!
11. Graphic Tees
While graphic tees were most popular in the 80s and 90s, you can absolutely find a wide range of graphic tees that feature graphics ranging from politics to popular music from the 70's, such as this one.
How are you going to get your groove on this Fall?
