Going out to breakfast at any point during the year is great, but it is even better during the summer. Waking up, getting breakfast and going to the beach without worrying about school is a great feeling. Here are some of the best places to get breakfast:

They serve both breakfast and lunch and are known for their french toast. No matter which of the many flavors you choose, you will not be disappointed.

Location: Wall or Middletown

2. Turning Point

They also serve both breakfast and lunch. No matter what you get or what time of the day you get it, you won't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Locations: Brick, Cherry Hill, Hoboken, Holmdel, Little Silver, Long Branch, Manalapan, Marlton, Princeton, Sea Girt and Westfield

3. Toast

Toast has a very large menu, with basically anything you could want. There are healthy alternatives as well as fun things, such as red velvet pancakes.

Location: Asbury & Montclair

4. George's Place

This restaurant is located right near the beach, so it is perfect to get breakfast and then spend your day there.

Location: Cape May

5. The Mad Batter

This restaurant is also in Cape May, a block away from the beach. They are a popular place for breakfast and brunch.

Location: Cape May

6. Black Trumpet

While popular for their brunch, they also serve lunch and dinner. Their Jersey Shore Benedict (eggs, crab cakes, & lobster sauce) is extremely popular, along with their stuffed french toast.

This restaurant is in a beach town surrounded by small shops, also with a wide variety on the menu.

8. Buttered Biscuit

Another one located near the beach, known for their various types of eggs.

9. Hansel n' Griddle

This is especially convenient if you go to Rutgers, because there is a New Brunswick location.

10. The Molly Pitcher Inn

They have a wide variety of food in their brunch buffet, which is what most people eat here for.

Location: Red Bank

11. Whipped Creperie
