So your birthday rolls around, and what do you want to do? Uh, get free stuff, of course! Here are a few things you can do (in advance) that will land you some pretty sweet freebies on your special day.

1. Menchies.

Now this one doesn’t actually work on your birthday, but instead it’s good for a $5 voucher 15 days before and 15 days after your date of birth.

2. Ulta.

You’ll have to pry yourself out of your loved one’s arms for long enough to run to your nearest Ulta to snag a sweet eyeshadow pallet worth around $18, but only on the day of your birthday and with the Ulta rewards member email coupon.

3. Starbucks.

A classic but a great way to stay awake on your big day. One free food or beverage of any price! If you have the Starbucks app, then it automatically loads onto your phone a few days before your birthday.

4. Auntie Anne’s.

I found out the hard way you have to download their app and become a member before your birthday for this freebie to work. Similar to the Starbucks app, the coupon loads on the app for a free pretzel of your choosing!

5. Aveda.

Aveda has a membership fee, but if you are a die-hard hair and skin care enthusiast, the free birthday gift is definitely worth it! This is another deal that you will have to sign up in advance for.

6. Cinnabon.

If you join Club Cinnabon, they send you an email for a free minibon upon signing up and then another one on your birthday. It’s your day, indulge!

7. IHOP.

I love going to IHOP, and their Pancake Revolution membership is a great perk! When you sign up, you get a free stack of rooty tooty fresh and fruity pancakes and another free stack every year on the anniversary of your sign up AND a free stack every year on your birthday. Sign up around your preferred IHOP partner's birthday and celebrate together with free pancakes!

8. Orange Julius.

Another great deal on your birthday if you are traveling in a pair is stopping by Orange Julius with your Julius League email and getting a BOGO drink coupon on your birthday and when you sign up.

9. Red Robin.

As a Red Robin Rewards member, you receive quite a few glorious food perks, but the best one has to be an entire free burger on your birthday, just for you.

10. Redbox.

Feeling like staying in on your special day? Well, Redbox will give you one free night movie rental to all their Play Pass members!

11. Sephora.

As a beauty insider, Sephora lets you choose from three different free birthday gifts on your birthday month, in store or online! The best part, it changes every year!

12. Bars, Pubs and Clubs.

This one is only to those 21 and up and for those of you willing to endure the humiliation of a blowjob or muff-diver shot: They are free at a good majority of bars around the country. However, if you have particularly nice friends/family, you can usually get a free drink from them on your birthday, too.

Go out and spread this wisdom across the land. You are one year older! You deserve it!

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
