Fall is the best time of year because of one reason: Football.

What makes football even better is getting to go to incredible stadiums to watch your favorite team. There are several things that make a stadium so incredible.

Number one is appearance. Whether it can fit 50,000 or 100,000 people, there are some incredibly beautiful stadiums around the country.

The second is the fan base. Getting to see thousands of fans gather outside the stadiums to tailgate and have a good time is something every college football fan should experience.

The last is the intimidation factor. Some opposing teams are in shock when they walk out of the tunnel. The students cheering on their team. The traditions the student bodies have...

These things make for an intimidating atmosphere and can truly affect the outcome of the game. Here is a list of eleven of the best college football stadiums.


1.Tiger Stadium, Louisiana State University

The craziest place in college football. Tiger Stadium is known nationally for having among the best game day atmospheres in college football.

Popularly known as Death Valley, it seats 102,321 guests, making it the third largest stadium in the SEC, and 6th largest in the NCAA.

Tiger Stadium is known for night games.

2.The Big House, Michigan State University

Home to the Wolverines, "The Big House" Michigan stadium is the largest stadium in the United States and 2nd largest in the world.

Holding 107,601 seats, Michigan Stadium hosts MSU's main graduation ceremonies. It has also hosted hockey games, including the 2014 NHL Winter Classic, a regular season NHL game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings.

3.Kyle Field, Texas A&M University

Home of the 12th man, Kyle Field has a seating capacity of 102,733. Kyle field has at times been regarded as one of the most intimidating college football stadiums. During football games, students stand ready to back up their teams,to symbolize they are always ready if called upon.

4.Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn University


Home to the Auburn Tigers, Jordan-Hare Stadium seats 87,451 guests. It is the tenth largest stadium in the NCAA. Jordan-Hare regularly makes lists of the best game-day atmospheres and most intimidating places to play.

The east side exterior of the stadium includes murals depicting greatest moments from Auburn football history.

5.Bryant-Denny Stadium, University of Alabama

Home field of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, Bryant-Denny Stadium holds a seating capacity of 101,821. Bryant-Denny has been ranked one of the best places to watch football, and also the fourth toughest place to play in the nation.

6. Rose Bowl, UCLA

UCLA's home stadium, also home to the most famous bowl games, the Rose Bowl is one of the most scenic places in sports.

7.Clemson Memorial Stadium, Clemson

Home of the 2016 National Champions, Clemson Memorial Stadium features a few things you cannot see at any other stadium.The sea of orange that fans form during home games, to the "Tiger Walk" which leads down to the front of the stadium.

8.Ohio Stadium, Ohio State

Ohio stadium, first opened for the 1922 season, encompasses ten acres, and has fit more than 105,000 fans. Throughout the stadium, Buckeye fans chant "0-H-I-O" throughout the entire stadium.

9.Camp Randall Stadium, University of Wisconsin-Madison

Wisconsin's field has a crisp look to it.Nothing bold about it, but the font goes well with the red popping behind it.

10.Neyland Stadium, University of Tennessee

Neyland Stadium located in Knoxville Tennessee has the most electric atmosphere in college football.

The passion exhibited by Tennessee fans for their vols football team is unrivaled by any fan-base.A game day at Neyland Stadium starts with tailgating around Knoxville. From the navy boats lined up the Tennessee river to the tailgaters,game day tradition is one of a kind.

11. Albertsons stadium-Boise State

Known as Bronco Stadium for its first 44 seasons, it was renamed in May 2014 when Albertsons, a chain of grocery stores founded by Boise area resident Joe Albertson, purchased the naming rights.

Albertsons stadium is best known for its distinctive blue playing field.
