In today's society, most of us tend to look at celebrities and athletes as role models. We often idolize these people because, in our eyes, they are who we won day inspire to be. Becoming rich and famous is what everyone dreams of becoming, succeeding in life and of course, loving what you do. Most of us everyday people dream of meeting these big time celebrities and some would kill just to spend an hour with some of them. Personally speaking, there are probably almost hundred celebrities that I wish I could meet (most consisting of athletes). But there are definitely a few famous people we can all agree on that we wish we could meet.

1. Johnny Depp

Depp has to be one of my favorite actors and his performance in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies were amazing. Although I don't go crazy over his hair like most, it'd be pretty cool to meet him in person.

2. Leonardo DiCaprio

Coming right off an Oscar win for best performance by an actor in a leading role, DiCaprio has been all the talk. Getting a chance to spend some time with the "Wolf of Wall Street" would be a dream come true.

3. Beyonce

As a huge Jay-Z fan, I'm also a fan of Beyoncé and her music. Not only is her talent enough to want and meet her but her looks are pretty compelling as well.

4. Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant is an 18-time All-star, the five-time champion, and a two-time finals MVP. Bryant announced his retirement from the NBA earlier this season and will go down as one of the best players in NBA history.

5. Justin Bieber

Although we may not all be a fan of his music, you have to give credit when credit is due. The amount of talent Bieber possesses is insane and even though most of us wouldn't admit it, it'd be pretty cool to take a ride with Bieber down the streets of LA in one of his Ferraris.

6. Lil Wayne

Although some may not be a fan of Lil Wayne's music I think any college student would love to spend a day with him. Let's be honest, the day would just be one big party.

7. Katy Perry

The amazing singer, songwriter, and actress is one we would all like to meet. If we had the opportunity to be in her music video, California Girls, I think we'd all do it.

8. Lionel Messi

Messi is often considered the greatest soccer player in the world right now and rated by many as one of the best to play the game. Messi plays for the Argentina national team and Spanish Club Barcelona. It would be a dream come true to get to play a game of soccer with Messi.

9. Lady Gaga

It may not seem like it because of her choice of clothing, but Lady Gaga has an absurd amount of talent. And her performance of "Til It Happens to you" at the Oscars was extremely touching and inspiring.

10. Taylor Swift

T-Swift isn't my favorite artists but some of her songs tend to get stuck in my head from time to time. I think we'd all like a chance to meet her.

11. Steph Curry

Steph Curry has recently taken the NBA by storm and has become one of the most recognizable athletes out there. He continues to break his own basketball records and is projected to win MVP again this season.

15 Times "Parks and Recreation" Summed Up Your Library Experience

"I've only slept nine hours over the past four days, so I'm right on the verge of a nervous breakdown." - Leslie Knope

Parks and Recreation excitedly gathered around a laptop at a table in an office setting.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

1. When you've finally found the energy to leave your dorm room and walk into the lib like

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
