11 Cool Traits Of Each Zodiac Sign

Astrology is actually a pretty cool concept. Whether you believe in it or not, the idea that our personalities are the way they are simply because of the stars aligning, is something to consider exploring. Everyone clearly has good and bad aspects of their personalities, but the fact that they are specific to an individual group of people is really interesting to me. It's these good traits that we want to know about. We want to find out what makes our personalities different from that of others, what makes us special. Well, here are just a few of the best traits for each zodiac sign.

Aries: Open-mindedness

Their ability to maintain a fairly optimistic attitude can help in many of life's tricky situations.

Taurus: Loyalty

They will never just up and leave from your side. They'll stick by you even in the toughest situations, and that's someone you'd want to have as a good friend.

Gemini: Enthusiasm

Their enthusiastic nature that helps them live life to the fullest and encourage everyone around them to do so as well.

Cancer: Caring

If you ever feel lost, need someone to lean on or talk to, these people will always be there for you.

Leo: Social Butterfly

Their friendly and charismatic nature just makes them fun to be around!

Virgo: Goal Oriented

They will stop at nothing to master new skills and strive always for success.

Libra: Objectivity

In tough situations they weigh every single outcome. Rarely are they one-sided, and that makes them excellent mediators.

Scorpio: Passionate

Everything they do is with their whole heart and should not be taken for granted because it's really just who they are.

Sagittarius: Independence

They pride themselves in their lack of dependence on other parties, a trait that positively affects the people around them as well.

Capricorn: Ambition

They never give up and never stop trying to achieve greatness. If there is a limit, they will want to surpass it and continue to move up.

Aquarius: Free Spirit

They will take you on wild adventures, and your spontaneity will be tested. There is always something new to do and explore rather than staying static in routine.

Pisces: Creative

There is no imagination quite as vast as theirs, and often it leads to major moments of genius.

Whether you have an infectious trait that will influence those around you, or one that just drives your everyday life, all of these are pretty awesome in their own way.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way.
