There's nothing better than being a girl who acts like one of the guys (except sliced bread, because who doesn't love toast?) Just look at this article about why girly tomboys are the best are fantastic people! But sometimes boys just don't know what to make of us. They aren't sure how to balance our interests with what society tells them is cute and romantic. Here are five date ideas for girls who would rather be with the guys:

1. BREWERY!

Most girly tomboys LOVE beer. Go on a tour of a local brewery, attend a tasting night, or just have dinner and a quality brew.

2. Honestly, anything with food will do.

We like to eat, and will probably eat more than our dates. Try a food tour around your city! Just make sure any meal is rightly followed by ice cream or else that date may be your last.

3. Skiing/Snowboarding.

There's something about going skiing and staying in a cozy mountain cottage that just makes my heart happy. Don't have the time or money to get away? Trash bags work as fantastic sleds on any hill, and the experience guarantees a lot of laughs.

4. Trampoline park.

We love acting like kids as much as we love acting like guys.

5. LITERAL Netflix and chill.

Get your mind out of the gutter, kids. I literally just want to wear sweatpants and watch TV on the couch with a cute boy. Is that really too much to ask?

6. Skydiving or Bungee Jumping.

We LOVE adventures and don't get scared easily. Did I mention that the pictures of you look super cute?

7. Paintball / laser tag

We are some of the most competitive people you will encounter, so get ready to be hit.

8. Do outdoorsy things.

Such as: kayaking, hiking, bike riding, just walking on trails.

9. Take a nap.

I can't date someone who doesn't respect my love for a good four hour nap. Couples who nap together stay together.

10. Playing sports.

Football, ice skating, ultimate Frisbee. You name it, we're there (to beat you).

And easily the most important...

11. Going to a sports game.

This is the ideal one. Any boy who takes me to a Penguin game is a keeper in my book. Also, those jumbotron proposals are easily the best way to get engaged (future husband take note).

Girly tomboys really aren't difficult to understand. Any combination of food, fun and minimal dressing up gets the stamp of approval. The biggest thing we really want in a relationship is a best friend to be adventurous with!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
