11 Cities That Need An NFL Team Instead of LA

Why does LA need two, there are plenty of cities that could use one.

Recently, both the St. Louis Rams and the San Diego Chargers have announced that they will be moving their teams to Los Angeles. The Rams were previously in Los Angeles, so it is only fit that they move back to a city that is large enough for an NFL team. However, I do not think that Los Angeles needs two NFL teams. There are other cities across the country (and maybe Canada) that could use an NFL team.

1. Las Vegas, Nevada

This city is one of the largest in the nation, and it has no pro teams. However, recently the NHL has announced interest in adding a team to Las Vegas. It should now be time for the NFL to make their next move and expand.

2. Portland, Oregon

Portland already has the Trailblazers and the Timbers, so why not add an NFL team? Portland has a population of over 2 million, and has never had an NFL team in their city. Why should this city only rely on Seattle or a California team?

3. Albuquerque, New Mexico

Despite the southwest already having the Arizona Cardinals, New Mexico can with hold an NFL team. Honestly, this state could probably use another way for tourism.

4. Any city in Kentucky

Despite the colleges Kentucky practically being the Mecca for college basketball, Kentucky has started to slowly produce great football players. WKU recently has become a very good team, and UL has produced Teddy Bridgewater and DeVante Parker. Louisville originally had an NFL team back in the '20s, but it would be pretty awesome for Kentucky to have an NFL team, despite already having the Bengals, the Titians, and the Colts surrounding them.

5. Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Despite football being an American sport, doesn't mean there shouldn't be an idea of expanding to Canada. The NFL is playing games in London, United Kingdom every year, and the NBA, MLB, and NHL already have teams in Canada, so why not the NFL? Toronto can obviously without the Raptors, the Blue Jays, the and the Maple Leafs.

6. Honolulu, Hawaii

They already have Aloha Stadium which hosts the Pro Bowl every year. People obviously attend the Pro Bowl who live there, so the demand is there. If the NFL established a team here, I would definitely travel to Hawaii to see a game. There would be beautiful weather here year round!

7. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The Oklahoma City Thunder are already here, so why shouldn't Oklahoma have another pro team? Kevin Durant should get an NFL team for Oklahoma City, that would make him MVP every year.

8. Montana

It is questionable which exact city in Montana that should have an NFL team. While their most populated city is Billings, it only has around 100,000 people. The reason why I say the state of Montana should get an NFL is because there is not a state that borders Montana that has a team. Idaho, Wyoming, and North and South Dakota do not have a team. I know it is common for people to become a fan of a team because of the proximity to them, even if it is not in the same state. That would be enough for a large fan base.

9. Boise, Idaho

If the NFL is against giving the whole state of Montana a NFL team, then a good city around that area that would be good would be Boise. They have a good population, and for the good reason of neighboring states not having a team, it is also a reason why Boise should get a team. If they do, I am personally begging the NFL team to not make their mascot the potatoes.

10. Birmingham, Alabama

When I was thinking of all the states that already had teams, a thought dawned in my head, how the hell does Alabama not have an NFL team? This state has the University of Alabama, which has college football royalty himself, Nick Saban. Birmingham just happens to be Alabama's largest city. While Alabama already is neighbored by teams in Louisiana, Georgia, and Tennessee, the only other state besides Texas that is known for football should definitely have an NFL team in it.

11. Providence, Rhode Island

Even though this city is very close to Boston, which is the home to the New England Patriots, Providence should get it's own team. While Rhode Island is part of the "New England" area, I don't think a whole area of the country should have it's own team. That is like trying to call the Arizona Cardinals the "Southwest Cardinals". Why does an area have it's own team? There should be a little bit of competition in that New England area.

Well NFL, it is your turn now. I have given you some options, so it is time to start expanding and building the next top team.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
