Christmas is a time to relax, spend time with family, praise Jesus, and watch Christmas movies. Whether you choose Hallmark, FreeForm, Netflix, or an old-fashioned DVD or VHS, every family has a go-to Christmas movie. Did yours make the list?

1. How The Grinch Stole Christmas

This is a family favorite for all ages. It's funny, it's charming, it's heartwarming, and it's downright great!

2. A Christmas Story

If you don't watch this movie at least once during the holiday season, you are doing Christmas all wrong.

3. Love Actually

This is a newer Christmas film, but it's still just as homey. This one is a little more romantic and modern, but it never fails to get you in the Christmas spirit.

4. The Santa Clause

This was one of my childhood favorites. Who doesn't love Tim Allen?!?

5. Elf

My family watches this movie many, many, many times during the holiday season! It's become a classic, and it's sure to make you laugh. Bye, Buddy! Hope you find your dad!

6. The Polar Express

If you don't get chills when you hear the bell, you're crazy! There's a little kid in us all.

7. Charlie Brown Christmas

This one is usually on in the background as we decorate our house. We all hope our tree looks a little fuller than Charlie's, but his is cute, too!

8. A Christmas Carol

It's a little darker than most, but it's lovable. Whether you watch the original, the remake, the Muppets, or Micky Mouse, it'll definitely boost your Christmas spirit!

9. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

This is a true classic. Can you name the other reindeer, too?

10. Frosty The Snowman

Try to watch the movie without singing along...

11. Home Alone

This is the all-time Christmas classic. You love Kevin, you worry about Kevin, and you laugh with Kevin the whole time. It's the best!

So, did you favorite Christmas movie make the list? If not, what is your favorite Christmas movie?

Merry Christmas (a little bit early)!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
