School is out and summer is here! Gone are the days - for three months, anyway - of being forced to read books that you will eventually have to take a test or write a paper on. What better way to move away from the stingy scholarly reads than to move on to something you love: love!

Post-graduate life rips the two apart when Matt leaves New York for an internship with National Geographic. The two go on their separate paths, both knowing in the back of their mind that they let the love of their life slip away.
Jump forward 15 years. As Matt waits for the F train on a regular old Wednesday afternoon, he catches his first glimpse of her green eyes and blonde hair. It's not until she has boarded the train and is disappearing down the dark tunnel of the subway that he realizes who he just saw.
Renée Carlino's love story brings warmth and sorrow to the page. It is a compelling story about missed opportunities and how love conquers all.
