Blink 182. One of those bands that every conservative parent hates for their immaturity, but if you're anything like me you love rocking out at 3 a.m. to all their albums. Blink has made a bunch of great music over the years but here are my top eleven favorite that I think everyone should always listen to.

1. All The Small Things.

Another very popular Blink song that talks about the struggles of being an immature person in a relationship or just in general and how seriously some people take life. This is a song that I enjoy because it reminds me that it's okay to be immature sometimes and be goofy.

3. Bored To Death.

This song was released in Blink's new album California. A lot of people didn't care much for the album but this song became very popular very quickly. I'm not sure what exactly it is about this song, but it is one of those songs that once you know the lyrics you can't help but sing along to it.

4. Always.

First off, the drum solo by Travis Barker to start the song just sounds super cool and the song itself is very upbeat and one that also conveys a lot of feelings. This is one of Blink's more intimate songs, but it is one of those songs that holds a sweet spot in the heart of any Blink 182 fan.

5. Don't Leave Me.

Another great introduction by Travis Barker to start the song. This song is a break up song, but it is very fast paced and high energy, and the lyrics are super easy to sing along to. This personally will always be one of my favorite songs of theirs.

6. First Date.

This song is great because it talks about going on a first date and all the feelings that go along with it. It's a very fun song to listen to because it makes you think about that first time you went out with a person and how nervous you were but how much fun you had. It also talks about never wanting the date to end and much like a great first date, this song leaves you coming back for more.

7. Dammit.

This song was in the movie "Can't Hardly Wait." It's yet another break up song, but this song talks about how moving on is just a part of life. It's a song that isn't sad because that isn't who Blink 182 is at all. They are a punk band and so they made something that was sad and turned it into a fast paced song.

8. Rabbit Hole.

This song is also off the California album that was released in 2016. I listened to the whole album and this is one of two songs that seemed to really catch my attention. This song does use the "F" word a lot but still is a great listen.

9. Adam's Song.

This is one of Blink 182's saddest songs because it talks about suicide. It was one of their most emotional songs, but it was also a great hit. One of my favorite lyrics in this song is "I laughed the loudest, who'd have known?" Because out of my friends, I have by far the loudest laugh.

10. I Miss you.

This song was a pretty popular song that most people really liked. It's a slower song that talks about really missing that one person you care a ton about. The song eventually picks up a little and the lyrics are fun to sing along to as most Blink 182 songs are.

11. The Party Song.

I really love this song because the title tells all, this song is about going out to a party. It's a party in a song itself as it is very fast paced and a lot of fun to listen to especially with the guitar and drumming. This song also explains how sometimes at parties you learn people just try to hard to impress people instead of just enjoying the party.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
