12 Relatable Blair Waldorf Moments

We could all use a little advice from Queen B.

If you know who Blair Waldorf is, you probably love her. Everyone has their favorite television show and favorite character. Blair happens to be my favorite character on "Gossip Girl." She was Manhattan’s very own Upper East Side Queen B, who you never messed with. She spent most of her time scheming and getting what she wanted. Queen B (played by Leighton Meester) also had the best advice to give whenever any of her friends needed it. Most of the time it was mean or snarky, but in her defense, it was necessary. She had plenty of sass to go around for days, and if you ever find yourself in a rut, please look to Queen B for guidance.

1. You think you’re crazy?

Don’t ever try to compete with B, not even over who’s crazier.

2. Show you’re the boss

If people don’t like you, at least if they fear you, they won’t mess with you.

3. Tights are not pants?

What would we do without you B? Thanks for clearing this up.

4. Take charge

If there is something to be learned here it’s that Blair was always driven and independent.

5. It’s okay to drink

Specially when someone tells you something you do not want to hear.

6. What is beauty sleep?

Next time you are struggling to decide whether you should get sleep or finish working, remember these wise words from Blair Waldorf.

7. Cursing

We all curse, and Blair reminds us that it’s okay to curse like a sailor sometimes.

8. Feelings

We can all agree on this one B.

9. Boring dudes

We’ve all been on a date with a boring dude. Except we probably never told him how boring he was.

10. Money does buy happiness

Do not let anyone tell you retail therapy is not a thing!

11. Heartbreak is inevitable

We all recall our first heart break and we were probably wondering this exact same thing. It's okay to be heartbroken, it happends to the best of us.

12. Blair Waldorf is perfect

And she’s not afraid to admit it.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
