Everyone remembers apps like Angry Birds, Temple Run, and Flappy Bird. They kept you entertained while you waited in line, listened to a boring lecture, or even when you used the loo. After the hype of using those apps died down you probably went back to using you regular go-to apps like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and today’s favorite Snapchat. But even those apps get a little boring sometimes. But let’s be honest, it’s been awhile since an app caught your attention. Luckily, I have a list of new apps that climbing the charts. And let me tell you, they’re worth checking out!

1. Superfly

If Snapchat and Periscope had a baby, then it would probably look a lot like Superfly. It combines live videos with comments, filters, and animations! It’s a lot of fun, and if enough people join in then every conversation is bound to be a memorable one.

2. Beme

Take all of the apps you know and love and throw them out the window! This is a new type of social media app that makes sharing your personal life to the world simple and unfiltered. This app forces the user to capture raw moments without having to worry about editing, angles, and the like. Honestly, you have to give it a shot!

3. Slither.io

Have you been looking for a game to play lately? Well, look no further because this app takes you on a wormy adventure! You have to fight to become the biggest worm, one wrong move and it’s game over!

4. Houseparty

Everyone has that moment when you want to share huge news with a big group of people all at once. And let’s be honest, sometimes that group chat of yours just doesn't do your enthusiasm justice. So look no further because this is a video group chat app! C’mon you know you’ve been dying to have this!

Going somewhere new this weekend? Maybe you’re a little scared because you’ve never been there before. Well, if you want to feel a little safer then download this app. Parachute does everything a phone could possibly do during an emergency. It records discreetly, blacks out your screen, broadcasts your location, etc. It’s worth having if you’re traveling somewhere alone and want to feel just a tad bit safer.

Do you like Pinterest, fashion, food, fitness, beauty, and the like? This is the perfect app for you! You will receive amazing life tips from Lauren Elizabeth herself.
