One of the things that brings me the most joy in life is super angsty teen music/songs that your seventh grade emo stage self would have enjoyed because, let's face, it I'm a bundle of bitterness that is going to forever be stuck in that phase of my life. Of course, you have the classics like My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, and Fall Out Boy (2009 Pete Wentz was the epitome of everything an emo could strive for with that fantastic guy-liner look and you know it), but there's so many more out there in the land of us emo kids that all you punks need in your lives. So, here I am to bring you my top 11 bands to fuel your teenage angst even if your not in your teens anymore presented in no particular order, minus the golden trio of greatness that I mentioned beforehand.

1. The Maine

These dudes are fantastic. Look at those luscious locks Patrick has, look at the beanie. Plus, who wouldn't want a band that can a) be super angst filled and b) make the most perfect cover of your favorite 90's songs such as As Long As You Love Me by the Backstreet Boys? They're just so lovable.

2. A Day to Remember

ADTR is the band you need in your life when you want slightly more aggressive teen angst. Their songs can tend to be a bit heavier, but they're the bomb.com. Plus, tattoos.

3. State Champs

These guys' sound is pretty similar to Mayday Parade. I mean their top song is about not getting over things with someone who is full of themselves and thinks they're saving you. Also, I saw them at Warped Tour in New Orleans and they had those little inflatable guys that flap about and bubbles. Basically, they're incredible.

4. You Me At Six

You Me At Six are a band of English dudes who are perfect at making songs directed at when you need to be away from it all. Room to Breathe is my anthem for when life is too overwhelming and I want to be done.

5. Bring Me The Horizon

But specifically their newest album entitled That's the Spirit. This album has a song on it all about screaming your heart out to a 'happy song' until you feel better. Listen to it. It's fantastic.

6. Twin Atlantic

What more could you want in life than a Scottish rock band? They're beautiful.

7. Broadside

They sound a lot like State Champs and were also a part of Warped Tour. They have a song about playing in traffic so that's pretty great.

8. All American Rejects

Another classic angst filled band. Perfect for when you have a breakup, or just general punk vibes. Yell this in the face of anyone who wrongs you.

9. All Time Low

Look at that fringe. It's 2016 and these dudes still sport the emo kid lifestyle hair. How can you not love them?

10. Yellowcard

Because Ocean Avenue will never die.

11. Secondhand Serenade

And lastly the band that exemplifies everything emo kid related. I don't care what anyone says, Secondhand Serenade knows how to hit you straight in the feels.

And there you have it. 11 of the best bands you could ask for to fill your life with angst and emotion. And a little bit of screaming.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
