Do you ever find yourself distracted by infomercials? Have you ever been distracted by one, while waiting for the next show to start? Has 15 minutes gone by before you realize you've been watching Sofia Vergara use the Coffee Ninja?
This list is for you.
1. Abenhancer - Flab to Fab
I'd say this could make it on a comedy sketch show, if only it was slightly more exaggerated. It advises America to not worry about what they eat, putting a red line through a clip of vegetables on a chopping board. Grease is better! I agree. But for tastebuds, not abs or your heart and arteries. The before and after pictures really help make their case, although I'm not sure how it changes skin tone and arm muscles too.
2. Potty Putter
This is perfect for the office! It is so realistic in comparison to actual golf! Who wouldn't want to "Play with [their] putter as [they] potty?"
3. Booty Pillow
It upsets me that she'd rather be uncomfortable or in pain, to avoid disrupting her boyfriend. But this is hilarious.
4. UroClub
How is relieving yourself into a tube, sanitary? Do you just pop the lid back on and use it to golf? Do you take it home and wash it out, like a canteen?
Either way, you're facing the bushes. Everyone knows what you're doing.
5. PooTrap
How does this make your walking experience fun, as opposed to having your dog poo on a surface? Sure it's convenient, but for who? I bet dogs would like to see this tested on humans first.
I would not want to see that infomercial.
6. Doc Bottoms Aspray AllOver Body Deodorant
I suppose this product--if it even works--could be useful to anyone camping, or without running water. It made this list for the commentary--"Pungent Pits!" and dramatic acting.
7. The Pocket Chair
Just think, this wouldn't have been invented if someone took more than one trip carrying chairs....Or if anyone helped.
8. EZ Cracker
Infomercials make everyone look pathetic.
9. These Products
See what I mean? This is a compilation of infomercial fails, arranged as if it all happened within the course of a day. Oh, the horror!
10. Telesteps 12 1/2 Aluminum Telescoping Ladder
Why are there ladders near stairs, and on floors QVC claims are slippery?
"He's moving, he's ok."
11. Music Vest
I have no qualms with this one.
There were plenty of infomercials that I expected to fit this list, but didn't. After watching so many, I started to get distracted by some products I wanted to buy--like that container that has a vegetable cutter built into it's lid. Luckily, I know I will be able to find any of these inventions in Walgreens, in case I decide one of them is more than just a useless impulse buy.
