Music has always been my go-to no matter what my mood is. It calms me down when I'm feeling frustrated. It brightens my life when I'm feeling down. It helps me clean my apartment when I need something to sing to as I wash dishes or sweep. Music is one of the things in my life I'm most passionate about. I will argue over and over for a band if I think they are worth giving a chance to listen to and explore more. Throughout my life I have found several cds that I can listen to all the way through in a single sitting. The following eleven albums are just a few that I recommend you do the same.

In fact, I have embed a Spotify playlist for each CD so you don't even have to go anywhere to experience the music. So sit back, relax and enjoy!

1. Collide With The Sky

Collide With The Sky is the third studio album released by Pierce The Veil. This CD was released in July of 2012 and it has been a staple of my musical diet ever since. When my car radio wasn't Bluetooth or USB savvy, it was my permanent car CD. I would listen to it over and over on my drive to and from my college. I learned every word to every song in a matter of days. To date, this is still perhaps my all-time favorite collection of music. The words to the songs are powerful and they tackle topics such as suicide, self-harm and destructive relationships.

2. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge

My list would be incomplete if I didn't include the very first CD that I ever fell 100% in love with. My Chemical Romance released Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge in June of 2004 as their second full-length CD. This CD features songs such as "Helena" (the very first MCR song I ever heard), "The Ghost of You" and "I'm Not Okay(I Promise)". This was a CD I would pop into my portable CD player and listen to over and over for as long as I can remember. This is also the CD that introduced me and turned me into a angsty pre-teen who wanted to dye her hair black.

3. Cinematics (Expanded Edition)

Everyone who knows me knows that no musical list I create would forget about my favorite band, Set It Off. Cinematics was first released in September of 2012. The expanded version was released in June of 2013 which was right before I discovered this band at Warped Tour. I fell in love with the band very quickly and bought every CD of theirs I could on one of their merch websites. Needless to say, I become addicted and quickly Cinematics became one of my other go-to car cds.

4. Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count

From First To Last holds a special place in my heart as one of the bands that really introduced me to the music scene I'm in today. Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count was released in June of 2004. This song features the vocals of Sonny Moore(who is now known as Skrillex) who at the time was a mere 16 years old. The CD features a strange mixture of songs about drug use, bad relationships and mental health. Though I haven't listened to this CD all the way through in a long time, I feel as though it will make a reappearance in my life very soon.

5. Dying Is Your Latest Fashion

I was obsessed with this CD and with Escape The Fate when it was released in 2006 for a very long time. In fact, when the original lead singer(who is featured on this album) Ronnie Radke went to prison I wrote a letter to him. He even wrote back and I still cherish this letter today. Ronnie is now the lead singer of Falling In Reverse. But that's to the point. This CD introduced me to a bit of heavier music(particularly the song "The Guillotine"). This is another CD I haven't listened to all the way through in a while, but a CD I hold close to heart.

6. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out

I am a firm believer that this is the best CD Panic! at the Disco ever put out. It is their debut album and features their hit "I Write Sings Not Tragedies" which still gets radio play today(at least on the stations I listen to!). This CD was released in September of 2005. At first, I hated it. I hated everything about this band. However, after listening to the music a few times on repeat I was struck with a love for it. I was sad to watch this style of music disappear as the band started to release more albums. This is one CD that I will never stop playing from beginning to end in one sitting.

7. Don't You Fake It

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is best known for their song "Face Down" which is a single they released from this CD. Don't You Fake It was released July of 2006. I loved the song Face Down and went to my local music store(actually my dad had to bring me because I was 13 years old at the time) to buy it. I listened to it all the way through on repeat for a couple days. It's still one of my favorite CDs today.

8. One-X

One-X by Three Days Grace was released in June of 2006. This CD features their songs "Pain", "Riot", "Animal I Have Become" and "Never Too Late" which are all songs I still hear on the radio today. I haven't listened to this CD all the way through in an incredibly long time, but whenever one of the songs on the CD plays on my iPod I always turn it up and sing along loudly.

9. Sempiternal

Sempiternal is the fourth studio album created by Bring Me The Horizon. It was released April of 2013. This was one of the first CDs that demonstrated lead singer Oli Sykes clean vocals. The band took a step away from their metalcore routes and delved into the post-hardcore scene. This was one of the CDs that was always present in my car. I had a dedicated CD case that held all the CDs I loved the most to play on repeat.

10. Feel

Feel by Sleeping With Sirens was released in June of 2013. This was a CD that had a lot of mixed reviews by fans and personally I was hesitant the first few times I listened to it. However, after the fifth time through I decided I found the songs incredibly catchy and caught myself singing them in the shower. Thus Feel joined my cd case of great CDs in my car.

11. Flyleaf

Flyleaf's self-titled album was released in October of 2005. This was one of the first female lead bands in this genre of music that I had been exposed me and I feel in love with Lacey's voice right off. This is another CD i haven't listened to all the way through in a long time, but one of the first ones to pop in my mind. This is a religious album as Flyleaf was once considered a Christian metalcore band. This song features their popular hit "All Around Me".

And this brings my list to a close. These are some of my all time favorite CDs and I only hope that all of you find a new song, band or album that you can cherish as well!

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
