If you've ever driven from Nashville to Knoxville, visited the Prime Outlets, or taken a hike through the Cedar Forrest Woods, you've been in Lebanon, Tennessee. It's a small town, with a population of 29,000, but has just as much character, if not more, as New York City. Lebanon is full of history and homegrown traditions, and you'd know all about it if you've ever taken residence in this wonderful place.
1. There's a pretty good chance you eat Los Compadres Sunday Buffet after church.
And everyone knows that Old Los is better than New Los. Without question.
2. You spent your summers as a small child swimming at the Jimmy Floyd Pool.
3. You couldn't believe it when Chick-fil-a AND Starbucks came to town.
4. You always would get Chicken-on-a-Stick at the famous Wilson County Fair.
Don't knock it 'till you try it.
5. Listening to your parents talk about how awesome the old movie theater was, then finally getting to see it restored to its' original beauty was a magical thing.
6. Always driving by the General Hatton statue, and checking to see if someone had put sunglasses on him again.
7. There was no way that you would miss the Lebanon vs. Central football/basketball games.
Don't even get me started on who had the better student section. *cough* Central *cough*
8. There's a 75 percent chance you got your prom dress or prom tux at The White Room.
I mean, who could blame ya? It's only the best wedding/formal shop in Tennessee.
