Reality television is growing day by day, and it is amazing to see what is going on and what is being done in the lives of many individuals. One of my personal favorites is the "Got Talent" series, which I guiltily admit to binge-watching and eagerly waiting until new episodes and videos are released. Just recently, the BGT final results were released and I don't want to give a spoiler alert, but I do want to focus on some of the talents from this season that definitely left an impact. These people made the 10th "Britain's Got Talent" a show worth watching.

1. Craig Ball

A cute boy who does amazing impressions of various characters, what's not to like it? From Elmo, to Kermit the Frog, to Scooby Doo, he gives a unique take on these voices by using song. From his audition to the final, he gave fresh performances. In the final, he may have had to turn back to the screen to see which voice was coming next, but one thing is for sure; he still made everyone turn heads when he starting singing!

2. Mythical Onez

These three dancers sure knew how to rock the stage! Not only were their moves on point, but they had such funny and charismatic personalities and elaborate facial expressions. It was hard not to love these boys.

3. Alexandr Magala

Can we talk about danger?! In Alex we see someone so close to death in every stunt he does, working with swords and chainsaws and even doing tricks with these dangerous objects. It also helps that this is one good-looking man who will have you torn between watching with wide eyes or not being able to look at all!

4. Lucy and Trip Hazard

You know what's better than a cute dog and talent? The two things mixed together. He sure was trained well, and his awesome tricks and actions can't help making you smile.

5. Richard Jones

What a magician! No one can quite say how he does what he does, but his card tricks and his emotional final performance can guarantee that he knows what he is doing. Magic is one of my favorite categories in the "Talent" franchise, and he did it justice!

6. Wayne Woodward

Also a crowd favorite, this singer wooed us with his classy takes on various songs. Normally singing isn't my "Got Talent" favorite, but I do have to give props to this man for his persona, his deep voice and new style.

So there you have it, some amazing talents and some of my personal favorites (not in any order). Here's to amazing individuals, some mentioned and some not, who shared their talents with the world and made the tenth anniversary of BGT one worth watching. Thank you.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
