Everyone has those days when literally nothing goes right. Those days when you're sitting there thinking, what else can I get punched in the face with today huh?

Well I don't know about you guys, but I personally have moments when I feel like that pretty much everyday. It's not because I deserve it or because anyone deserves it, but because were going through this thing called college, and it can be kinda a struggle. Here's just a few of them.

1. Snoozing your alarm approximately 17 times before waking up 10 minutes after your class started.

Well hey, in my dream I was 100% certain that I didn't need to wake up so thats what happened.

2. When you think about how nice you used to dress in high school as you put on the same t-shirt you wore yesterday.

No one will ever know but your roommates.

3. When you see your reflection in a window and you wonder if you always look so miserable and mean.

I saw myself in a bus window and it looked like I wanted to murder someone. Yes, thats just my face, but no, I don't like you either.

4. Just trying to get to class on time and wiping out instead.

Everyone takes a tumble sometimes. If someone says they haven't, it's just because no one saw.

5. Wanting to dart your pencil across the table when someone sits across from you at your library table and won't stop making noises.

Are my dirty looks not giving this dude a hint?

6. Doing everything in the world except for the stuff you need to do.

I'm just going to organize my underwear drawer, wash the dishes, go for a 5 mile run, call my grandma, lay on the floor for 10 minutes, and then study.

7. Facetiming your family and starting to tear up when you see your dog.

Never been so jealous of my little sister than seeing her with my dog.

8. When you try to cook yourself dinner and realize you have no clue what you're doing.

"Mom, how does one cook a piece a chicken?"

9. Accidentally watching an entire season of a Netflix show while eating a box of mac and cheese.

I don't know why I am saying this is a struggle, its actually great and I highly suggest it.

10. Having a meltdown and being very overly dramatic.

Just let it out, you'll pull it together tomorrow or something.

So there ya have it.. adulting and being in college can really be quite the struggle. But its not the end of the world when you have a mental breakdown and eat a whole box of pizza. We all love college and were all going to make it out alive. So I guess we will figure it out one of these days.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
