It's the little things that make up the best moments

Must Be This Tall To Ride

When I experience or think about any one of these little moments, the feeling of being complete and happy washes over me. I don't usually stop and take the time to appreciate the moment like I should, but remembering the feeling brings back a wave of emotion only felt during those little moments in time.

1. The smell of cookies baking in the oven

2. Laughing so hard that it becomes hard to breathe and your stomach hurts

3. Waking up feeling completely energized

4. Doing a better job on something than you originally thought

5. Making someone smile

6. The warmth of the sun against your skin

7. Meeting someone and connecting instantly

8. Rolling the windows down on a summer day and singing to your favorite song at the top of your lungs

9. Being hugged really tight

10. Volunteering

11. Knowing someone cares for you as much as you care for them

12. Looking through scrapbooks and old pictures

13. Seeing someone you haven't seen in a while

14. Getting a high-five

15. Eating a really good meal

16. Reminiscing with siblings/cousins/parents/grandparents

17. The smell of rain

18. Lighting storms

19. Making new friends

20. Being under ten blankets in a cold room

21. Christmas morning

22. Right after the lights are dimmed in a movie theater

23. The sound of leaves under your feet on a brisk fall morning

24. Right after a tough workout

25. Watching romantic comedies

26. Going out on a Saturday night

27. The smell of baby powder

28. Long drives

29. Looking good for no reason and feeling confident all day

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out.
