Dream jobs DO exist! USDish.com is offering $1,000 to one lucky person to watch 15 hours of episodes of "The Office."
This job is wonderful because it's like being paid to watch your favorite show and nobody can tell you to stop because "it's for work." Not only do you get $1,000, but you also get a Netflix gift card, and "The Office" merch.
Basically USDish.com is asking you to watch 15 hours of "The Office" to celebrate its 15th anniversary, and all you have to do is keep a list of how many "common tropes" occur in each episode.
What's a common trope? Well, it's a theme, element, etc. that happens enough that it's easy to identify as "common."
The application site gives these examples:
For instance, how many times does Stanley roll his eyes at the camera? How often does Phyllis talk about Bob Vance from Vance Refrigeration?
Fifteen hours of "The Office" ends up being about 45 episodes, so it's the perfect excuse to order a lot of take-out and curl up on the couch and not move until your finish. Again, it's FOR WORK!
Want to apply? Here's the application! You have until 5 p.m. MST on March 16 to apply!
