Khmer- Sharing Computer Science Education and Entertainment Channel

It's a Thursday night, and you are sitting in your bed/library/anywhere that one sits to do homework, and you decide to go on YouTube to listen to music or watch a funny video before you start to actually do your homework. Two hours later you have been sucked down the "YouTube" hole, and you are watching a video about cats, with just the header written on your document. So instead of writing tips on how not to procrastinate, here is a list of the following YouTubers that you need to watch! (because we all know that it's impossible not to procrastinate):

1. Joanna Hausmann (Joanna Rants)

Joanna Hausmann is gold. She is a a Venezuelan comedian/writer and works for LA FLAMA, which is a YouTube channel pertaining to Latin American "comedy, music and entertainment. Bona-fide fan of abuelitas, llamas and tacos." It doesn't matter if you are Latin American or not, just check out this video here of Joanna explaining different Spanish Accents in Latin America HERE!

2. Yousef Erakat (FouseyTube)

Even if you are not Muslim or Palestinian, Yousef Eraket or better known as FouseyTube is so relatable in many ways. From Strict parents, to pranks, FouseyTube has covered all grounds of funny and serious. Although Yousef is on a break for now (cries), check out his videos HERE!

3. Ryan Higa (NigaHiga)

Ryan Higa, better known as NigaHiga, has been one of the longest running YouTubers since 2006! From Hilo, Hawaii, Ryan has always made hilarious sketches such as "How to be Emo" to "First World Problems". You can click HERE to watch his videos!

4. Liliy Singh(Superwoman)

My only Canadian on the list, Liliy Singh is a goddess. She is the epitome of a funny, sexy, strong woman who deserves no other titles that Superwoman. Watch her video on "Indian Parents Explain How Babies Are Born" HERE!

5. Megan Bower (ChoNunMigookSaram)

Megan Bower aka ChoNunMigookSaram, is an American YouTuber currently living in South Korea. Initially her videos were about what's it like being a teacher in S. Korea but have recently turned into beauty, vlogs and daily life there as well. She brings an interesting perspective not only as a foreigner in another country, but as well as a minority in a homogeneous country. Watch her videos HERE!

6. GloZell

You probably have seen GloZell appeer in Buzzfeed videos or on Nickelodean, but she actually has her own YouTube page as well. It is hard to explain GloZell's videos except to expect the unexpected. A lot of her videos are dare challenges like "The Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge", but also parodies of current fads like "how to Twerk", You should watch her videos HERE!

7. The You Do You Crew

This is a tough one because obviously Quinta B. and Ashley are not the only diverse people on the Buzzfeed staff, however I am extremely obsessed with their new series "You Do You," which is why I chose the picture above! Their videos such as "if Black People Said the Stuff White People Said" and "I am Muslim, but I am Not..." are really powerful and funny videos pertaining to prejudices people face everyday. Click HERE to watch one!

8. Franchesca Ramsey (chescaleigh)

Franchesca Ramsey's "claim to fameā€ came in January 2012 when her video, ā€œSh*t White Girls Sayā€¦to Black Girlsā€ (which accumulated 1.5 million view in 24 hours) went viral. She is an avid vloger and has here own show on MTV called "Decoded". Check her out HERE for more!

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
